    I'm voting Mob Pyscho as the next series to review. It is genuinely one of the best series' I've read (if you can get past One's art), and the anime enhances it to an extreme degree.

    • @guillaumelemage9860
      @guillaumelemage9860 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Maybe an unpopular opinion but I've grown to really like One's style in Mob. He's learned to be quite creative in his panelling and his mise en scene to make up for his art. But I won't argue that the anime is indeed on another level. I would love to hear Mark's take on it!

    It wasn't in your collection but I think Vagabond by Takehiko Inoue would be a great series for you to review. Is better than the anime? I dropped it during s3.

    • @Klonoahedgehog
      @Klonoahedgehog ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@Android_17_ It's way better, for one it has a rotating cast like the games, it doesn't just follow one singular protagonist like Jojo or Yugioh where once one region has been covered they move on to the characters and setting from the next game.
      Like the first generation has Red and then the second arc follows an original story starring a character named Yellow, then Gen 2 where Ethan, named Gold since this was before he had an official name was the protag.
      Gen 3 has split protagonist duties between Brendan and May, one following the gym challenge and the other following contests, named Ruby and Sapphire because at this point they decided to stick to the game titles instead of using their official names for some reason.
      Gen 4 has Dawn as the protagonist and i like the version of her in this manga more than the anime version, she's a rich kid who's seeing the world outside her family estate for the first time on her pokemon journey and it's really charming seeing her interact with the others in her group (Lucas and Barry.) And its a funny misunderstanding because she assumes that they are bodyguards hired by her dad to protect her while she travels Sinnoh while they assume she was hired to be a tour guide traveling with them across Sinnoh as part of some contest. All the actual bodyguards spend like half the story of some misadventures trying to find Dawn.
      And from there i haven't read beyond it, i havent read Gen 5 yet but ive seen bits and pieces ahead and it seems neat.

    One Punch Man seems like an excellent series for a review. The characters and ideas that the series develops are on another level and I think that your review style would work wonderfully with it. I really love the way you focus on characters and particular emotions that a series brings to the table and One Punch Man is so full of material that makes you feel and think that it would make an amazing series for you to review in my opinion. 3. Mob Psycho 100
    4. Jujutsu Kaisen
    5. Chainsaw Man
    6. My Hero Academia
    7. Assassination Classroom
    Spy x Family and Haikyu are also really good, but I feel like they would be better as shorter reviews since while they handle their concepts very well, their concepts are still quite simple imo. I prefer your much more in-depth reviews, and I think it would be pretty difficult for you to go in-depth into either story. They are among my favorites, but I'm not dying to see a review about them. Monster and Fullmetal on the other hand I am dying for. Demon Slayer is also really good, but I think just about everyone agrees that the anime is better, so if you did do a review on it I think you would have to review the anime alongside it and compare it to the manga, which I think would be pretty interesting!

    I think 5 Centimeters Per Second is Makoto Shikai's best story ever and I really want more people to appreciate how great it is. So I'd love to see a review on it.
    Contrast to his most popular work's, Your Name and Weathering With You. Both Being fantastical and heartfelt stories about two people falling in love as time progresses. 5 Centimeters Per Second is a realistic and tragic story about two people who slowly fall out of love as they grow older. The story follows Tohno Takaki, a young man who can't move on from the past with his childhood friend, Akari Shinohara. Due to reasons beyond their control, they are split apart and try to keep their relationship together. But as they get older and mature they slowly drift apart until they are nothing but memories to each other. With Tohno always looking forward to the day they meet again, ignoring all his relationships and only looking to the future in which he can be with Akari again. Resulting in him hurting almost everyone he meets.
    As an Adult he feels his heart and emotions are no longer growing. He feels nothing but pain, growing worse each day. And he is unsure if she even remembers or loves him anymore. And he clings onto the hope he can see her again one more time.
    The story is so good in my opinion because of how much you can relate to him. A lot of people have someone they wish they confessed too and want a chance to see them again, even if it's just once. And some people have people they have slowly grown apart from, whether it be a friend or significant other. Even if you never had a significant other we have lost family members or friends we slowly drifted apart from. Almost everyone of us has a person we wish we had one more chance to talk to. We wish we could see them one more time.
    The message of the movie and manga is that it's okay to move on from someone you loved/cared about It's okay too keep your memories with them. But if you refuse to let go of the pain, sadness, and loneliness you feel. It'll only get worse and It'll stop you from forming new connections and relationships.
