Because of you Pan, I now enjoy a new hobby and I know how to go about it properly. Your dedication and integrity goes a long way. Wish you the best. Thank you.
Thanks I appreciate it! I’m never sold to just one brand. I like testing many different brands and products and reporting my best findings to my viewers.
I just finished a bottle of the Turtle wax Hybrid solutions wheel cleaner recommended by Pan. It worked pretty awesome. I now want to try this stuff. Great video Pan.
I got bead maker and the name is true after rain forms really a lot of beads on surface. But that sucks because if that rain dries it just turns to water spots all over. I prefer Meguiars X-press spray wax now. It sheets water more than bead maker, instead of a lot of beading, so less water spots at the end. I personally prefer it more because I park my car outside.
I really love beadmaker but I have the same problem as you. My car is also always outside and I got the spots indeed after it dried. Don’t you have any spots with the meguiars spray wax after it rained?
Michiel Mertens yes I do get some spots still but it’s less than bead maker. And sheets more water rather than beading it. Check out this video, it’s the best one I found to show the difference between the two. th-cam.com/video/VJ6aTRw7Gi0/w-d-xo.html
P&S Brake Buster is now my go to Wheel and Tire Cleaner! I like that I can clean both in one step and the results are fantastic. I also use it in a IK Foamer. Most importantly though it doesn’t put a big hole in my wallet. Great video brother!
Troy Parvaton You can dilute the product 5:1 so your gallon will last longer. Also foam draws dirt to the top of the foam and carries it off the wheels and tires.
I bought and tested it. It does not do anything that a regular car soap wouldn't. If you have to brush and agitate so much, when dish soap can do a great job.
Wife & I used this for the first time last night on her VW wheels. We were both blown away how effective it is. Really incredible stuff. We bought at The Rag Company here in Boise :)
I’m literally using up my products and switching to P&S not only because of quality, not cost too it’s decently affordable compared to other brands and still delivers amazing results
I found this video at the perfect time. Over the past 3 years I’ve vetted and grown accustom to the performance of Adam’s wheel cleaner as well as their tire and rubber cleaner. I was just about to order another gallon of each but then I came across this! 2-in-1 cleaner and its incredibly priced! Can’t wait to try it!
Awesome job Pan! You weren't the first reviewer that I watched, but you'll be the last to convince me that I need a dedicated wheel cleaner like this.👍
I'm Sold! As a pro mobile detailer i work in the direct sunlight so I need a product that doesn't dry instantly. This product has such a long working time!!!!
i am almost out of a gallon mequires wheel brightner i have it is a strong cleaner doing a nice job on the wheels but its not cheaper than this, it doesn't foam like this one ,its acid base so smells horrible ,and its for wheels only ,also its a killer for the spray bottles just melt the rubber in the bottle so this one is a win doing a great job its strong its safe and its economical it is a winner definitely getting a gallon of it thanks for very informative and honest review you are killing it like always thank you mr pan the organizer :)
I'm glad you did a review on this product. I just got some, from the Rag Co., and it works fantastic. I use it in a foam sprayer and it's going to replace the other wheel cleaners I've used in the past. Keep up the good work.
What kinds of liquids do you use to properly clean off all the grease and black stains on the detailing brushes? edit: You should do a video on cleaning and caring for all the detailing tools. Brushes, mitts, towels etc!
Very happy to see a good review from one of my favorite detailers! I do have a question, would this suffice for an initial pre-coating decontamination of the wheels? Or would you recommend using a specific iron remover & clay before a coating, and then use this for maintenance? As always, love the videos! Keep up the good work :)
The reason why I’m asking is because I barely started Detailing and well I want to know how to properly use the chemical without doing something wrong.
@@PanTheOrganizer okay I see we’ll right now I’m not able to use a pump sprayer so for the meanwhile I’m going to have to use a spray bottle that’s why I was asking how much ounce of water do I pour and how much brake buster do I pour in?
Thank you for all your content Pan! Quick question. I’m cleaning my wheels with the brake buster, how often should I spray some iron remover on the wheels?
I use Bilt Hamber wheel cleaner but it is expensive I’m thinking this might be better if I can dilute this to make the wheel cleaner last longer. What do you think Pan?
I dilute it 60% Brake Buster and 40% water in a foam cannon in this video: th-cam.com/video/9QWk0ZFb6_I/w-d-xo.html Or 3:1 in the pump sprayer as you saw in this video. Not all wheel cleaners can be diluted though. You should email Bilt Hamber if you’re thinking of diluting it.
@@PanTheOrganizer thanks again for the advise Pan. I wasn’t thinking of diluting the Bilt Hamber as It doesn’t mention being able to do that. But definitely looking for something that last a little longer but still get good results 😊
I use both Brake buster and Bead maker. The cars look very glossy and I've noticed my wheels stay cleaner longer with brake buster than some others that I've tried.
Hi Pan, thank you for your video, it's always a real pleasure to watch. In the comments below, I see several questions about the safety of this product on ceramic coated wheels, and you seem to say that there's no problem. Can I ask you why, since P&S Brake Buster is pH 11 ? We've always been told to use only pH neutral products on ceramic coated surfaces.
I have a Subaru STI and the brake dust is insane! (Small price to pay for the performance). I've used many wheel/brake cleaners, but none come close to this one. I now buy it by the gallon and keep those wheels looking amazing year-around!
Thanks for sharing! Another trick to help make your wheels even easier to clean is to add a protection on them, in a quick and easy way. Watch my wheel cleaning tutorial: th-cam.com/video/Ty4ZTq7A7rc/w-d-xo.html
This is the best wheel cleaner on the market right now I don't think it's nothing out there that could compare. There are other products but this one stands out the most from the rest of them.
@@Jayg80 That'll work :-) Personally I use Adam's tire and rubber on the tires and just the soap from my foam cannon on the rims, although I do have ceramic coated painted rims so the brake dust just falls off.
If that works for you, great. But I like good quality wheel cleaners plus this one doubles as a tire cleaner and is very inexpensive. I don't know much better cleaners that can be diluted like this one... So in the end, it's one of the most cost effective wheel cleaners. Instead of just criticizing, why don't you let us know which wheel cleaner you're using and why. Constructive comments please.
Pan TheOrganizer bilt hamber surfex hd is great on tyres too. I use their auto wheel as a hardcore cleaner and the apc for maintenance. Love the videos btw 👌🏼
Thanks Richard! It depends how much product you like to spray, but in my testing, one full container of my IK Foam Pro 2 will last three to four tires washes, meaning 3 x 4 wheels or 4 x 4 wheels (12 to 16 wheels in total).
I agree!! Very low cost especially if you dilute it. Plus it increases efficiency while cleaning wheels as you can use the same product to clean your tires too. :)
Pan, another great review, you did another magnificent presentation 👍🏼 This time I was faster 😉and already bought PS tire and wheel cleaner week ago and tested couple of days ago. What a pleasant surprise in many ways, I am super impressed with the results and here are my few takeaways. First I like that is not acid cleaner, which is very important. Than, it does clear and clear perfectly both wheels and tire as well. 3rd I am big fan of the Adams products and using all of them ( my go to products ) and they are really good. Price for PS Gallon is $29.99 and I can clean both wheels and tires. To do the same job I had to buy Adams tire cleaner Gallon for 69.99 and also Adams tire cleaner for $59.99. Again nothing against Adams, they are amazing just simple price comp. What's even better, PS is that you can use with the foam pro 2 and save even more money with the same magnificent results. Really good products. Not only that PS cleaning the wheels it's also giving them shine 👍🏼 I guess surprises never end. Also when I was using PS and tested after with the Iron remover on the wheels, there was no iron left on the wheels because PS will clean wheels perfectly. Another free benefit for products doing all, safe and very good price 🔥 On the side note I am planning to be in Montreal in 2 weeks, maybe we can meet for a coffee if you have time ? Enjoy the long weekend !
Is this safe on polished chrome n painted powder coated rims??? Basically all aftermarket rims? I got 1600 dollar rims so wanna make sure it wont harm them???
Isn’t agitating the dirty surface with brake buster scratching the paint? Or am I too nitpicky? I spray brake buster 1:3 diluted on the dry dirty wheel so it sticks. Then I agitate just the tires. Then I rinse all off. Then I clean the rim with wash bucket + gyeon bath + microfiber tools. Then I final rinse and wash my car and dry it after and the wheels together. The wheels are definitely hyper clean :D I’m not sure if I still have the corrosion protection benefit anymore though, since I wash brake buster away with gyeon bath.
Hi Pan I just got A new used vehicle new to me of course I clean the rims very well but I still have these small black very hard particles. They would be equivalent to a large grain of sand or dirt. I’m having a tough time removing them any thoughts. These rims previously were not properly taken care of whatsoever. Thank you very much for your time and your videos are very helpful!
@@PanTheOrganizer I wonder how many wash would the whole 2 liter of diluted last? or maybe I should dilute it in the gallon first and pour a certain amount needed for a single wash into the foamer.
Curious, and this may just be an error in the links. You show a IK Foam PRO 2 Sprayer in the video. However your link (in the USA) takes us to a IK Multi Pro Pump Sprayer.
Thanks Pan. God I hope the guys at P&S keep doing what they do! My son I love Bead Maker and of course...Brake Buster! Two awesome products. Thanks for mentioning a dilution ratio. I (we) have been using it basically 1:1 but recently trying others in an effort to further stretch product . We clean our wheels regularly (German Cars ) so it's been working out great. To help others, another alternative. At first I had a 'ducky' foam type trigger sprayer ( Chemical Guys and I think Amazon) on the spray bottle worked excellent and made good foam but I sorta felt it went through product quickly. I have returned to a regular trigger sprayer for now to see how things go.
Pan, brother! Last year or so has been a journey and I’ve been using many of your videos to help me get my car detailing down to a T! These was what I needed! An inexpensive tire cleaner
@@PanTheOrganizer truth be told, I think it was a buddy of mine who send me a link to your page.. can’t remember but I have watched countless of videos ! Thanks for all the content..!
Pan, I want to thank you as 1 1/2 years ago I knew nothing about detailing. I bought a 2018 Kia StingerGT2. Wanted to keep it nice. A friend told me about you and have watched all of your video’s. Learned a tremendous amount. Have been turned on to P & S Bead Maker and P & S Brake Buster by you and love the process duct. You tout a lot of products but you said these were “game changers”. I wonder do you use this on your BMW? I saw it in your portable detail cart at your new house/garage.
Sorry didn’t finish. I would love to have a garage like you have. The next thing that I think you use a lot is the side kick blower. Right now I just use a leaf blower but it just doesn’t do the job I think that the side kick blower will do. I’m tight with money so if you have a discount code or a good connection to purchase one, I would certainly appreciate it.
Of course I use Brake Buster on my car. It won my top wheel cleaner in my most recent awards video. In fact, I used it in my most recent wash video here: th-cam.com/video/0KUJpoki-iQ/w-d-xo.html
Yes the MetroVac AirForce SideKick blower is perfect for wheels (I also have the bigger brother the MetroVac Master Blaster Revolution for drying the entire car). Here's a link to a less expensive version made for Adam's by MetroVac: amzn.to/2RMwfo8
very well presented and the product beautifully demonstrated yet again by pan it looks very good and I for one will be getting some for my wheels and tyres
My problem. I want to put several 3M vinyl stripes on my car. The issue. I have PPF covered with Ceramic Pro. Will brake buster take off the ceramic so that the stripes will adhere or should i forget about the stripes?
Great video! Although, for a new guy like myself, I don’t really know the effectivity of this product as I don’t know what the benchmark of general wheel and tire cleaners are. Is it possible to do a comparison of a weaker alternative product to see how effective this one actually is? Thanks!
Joseph L The value in this specific cleaner lies in its 2 in 1 capabilities (cleans tires AND wheels) and its cleaning power, so you can wash your “shoes” quicker and more efficiently than with other products. It’s also VERY affordable for a gallon, so much so that it wouldn’t make sense to buy any other size considering the frequency of wheel cleanings amongst most hobbyist. Hopefully that helps!
Interested in this product but have read some that say that it has discolored their wheels, dulled clear coats or done damage to the Driveway, so I am a little concerned. I have also taken enough chemistry to know that just because a product isn’t “acidic” doesn’t mean that it can’t damage something. Something that is too basic/alkaline can do just as much damage.
Thank you for the awesome review. I watch all of your videos and they are amazing. Wheel cleaner is one of the products that I go through the quickest. So it’s important that I found this one that is fairly priced per gallon. Can I wait to use it in my ok foamed
Which brush was used for the facing of the wheels? The links are for the stiff tire brush but clearly that brush uses for the center facing looked to be rather soft..
I probably didn’t ask that question the right way. I know in the video you used it to clean your car, but if you have to clean your car (off video), of all the products you have to pick from , what do you use after you wash your car and and then clean your wheels? Are there any other spray waxes for your “ go to” products. Again, thanks for taking the time to answer my questions. I very much respect your opinions. I guess I should also say, the reason I haven’t commented in the past on your videos is because I didn’t know where to comment. My daughter showed me where to comment on your You Tube videos.
Thanks for the video Pan! Just bought a gallon and the same foam sprayer. The ony brush i can use on my own wheels (gloss black) is the small boars hair, everything else scratches them
J'utilise depuis plusieurs années superclean (5:1) pour mes pneus. Très économique, mais je dois passer plusieurs fois sur les pneus. Est-ce que tu crois que brake buster serait mieux que superclean ?
I’ve used a lot of different wheel cleaners and tire cleaners. I still stock wheel brighter from meguiars but use it rarely. I love Auto Fanatic foaming cleaner it is almost identical in use and results ,but even diluted it is a little on the expensive side however it works great as an “ all in one” , saving time and multiple chemicals, and safe to use, would you have a preference over that product or P & S , they look like they are very similar. I haven’t done a cost analysis yet but that might be the difference .
Yes the Auto Fanatic Wheel Cleaner and P&S Brake Buster perform almost identically and both can also be used to clean tires. The Auto Fanatic costs 49.99$ USD for 32oz and can be heavily diluted. I use 6oz of product to each gallon of water. So with one bottle I can produce 5 gallons. One gallon of Brake Buster costs roughly $22.95 USD (link: amzn.to/31jcMOg) and can be diluted 5:1 so you can produce 6 gallons of product with one gallon of Brake Buster. So way more economical obviously.
Jeff, Jeff, Jeff.... If you're looking at value, then this Brake Buster can be diluted 5:1 so with one $11 USD bottle, you're looking at 6 x 16oz so a total of 96oz of wheel cleaning solution! Your $8 Wal-Mart cleaner seems way too expensive all of a sudden. And with Brake Buster, you're getting a professional wheel cleaner. It's a no brainer if you ask me. But hey, it's your money you do as you wish. ;)
Hehe no worries, that's why I'm here. To help my viewers make better decisions and sometimes even save money and get a better product in the end. ;) Thanks for your support by the way, I appreciate it! What's your favourite video on my channel so far?
@@PanTheOrganizer My favorite video is the first one I watched and introduced me to your channel back in 2017, Mercedes -Benz C350 Full Detail Of A Black Car. Was desperately looking for new products for my black truck and now I watch all your reviews to try new items. Even started a small side detailing gig and get compliments when I explain the info from your videos of the advanced detail, passion, and time involved when truly detailing a car :)
I am trying to clean the brake dust stain on my rotors. I have ceramic coated the wheels & calipers. Does the PS brake buster clean the rotors? If not, what product do you recomend.
I don't think wheel cleaners are designed to clean rotors as those are bare exposed metal made from ferrous materials... I would check with P&S and see what they say. But when you brake, that generates friction and abrasion and if that doesn't remove the stain, then I don't see how a chemical will.
I use three wheel cleaners. One is meguires non acid wheel cleaner and tire cleaner .second is meguires wheel brightener and third is a basic apc .three cleaners for three situations. I also carry meguires heavy degreaser for those nasty hard jobs.
This Brake Buster can replace all those cleaners for the wheel and tire cleaning jobs. I also have Meguiar's Wheel Brightener, and since using this Brake Buster, I don't use the Meguiar's as much. Brake Buster increases my wheel cleaning efficiency as I can clean tires with it as well. But for stubborn brake dust, then yes Meguiar's Wheel Brightener and an iron remover like CarPro IronX are still useful. Thanks for watching!
If you buy the gallon size. What is the dilution ratio? Or, what is best dilution ratio in your opinion that matches the 16oz spray? Also, I read it’s better to use IK spray not IK Foam since the liquid penetrates better than foam. Can anyone clarify with experience or expertise? Thanks!
If you want to dilute this, you have to put it in a FOAMING pump sprayer (like IK Foam Pro 2, of e-foam Pro 12, or Marolex Axel series, etc). And the dilution would be 1:3 up to 1:5 depending on your water quality and desired level of foam. If you don't want it to foam, keep it in a regular trigger sprayer and you don't dilute it.
@@PanTheOrganizer thanks! I have hard water at home. Would the ratio be better 1:3 or 1:5? I’m even thinking of using my refrigerators filtered water to help out the hardness of the water.
When you were using it from the bottle, were you using it full strength? Same question for the Detailer out there, do you use this undiluted when not using a foam sprayer like the iK?
Great video Pan. I’ve got a clarification question about what I’m experiencing after trying it for the first time. Loved the suds. Thank you for this review.
@@PanTheOrganizer I rinsed the tires & wheels with water, they were cool & in the shade. I sprayed the Brake Buster one wheel area at a time; full strength with an Adam’s continuous spray bottle you fill with your own product - wheel, tire & wheel well of my Nissan Titan. Waited 1 minute - cleaned the wheel with a detail brush and plastic “spike” brush, scrubbed the wheel well with a long handle bristle brush, lastly tires with tire brush. The suds turned a bit brown but not as much as expected. Rinsed with hose and let dry. Situation… The tires browned out quite a bit (more than before I started) & there was a film of what looked like dried suds bubbles on the tires and arch plastics. The film wiped off with a dry microfiber cloth. What could I have done wrong in the application process? I took pictures if that would help. I rewashed tires but nothing seemed to improve. Rinseless Wash cleaned the arch plastics beautiful. Desperately needing direction, Cat
You need to repeat the tire cleaning until you see white foam. That's when you know the tires are fully cleaned and free of that browning. Watch my popular wheel and tire cleaning tutorial : th-cam.com/video/Ty4ZTq7A7rc/w-d-xo.html
What's the secret to get the IK foamer to work like on your video? I got the same one and have tried brake buster and the auto fanatics stuff and I can never get the form to spray wide like that. While I can get thick foam, it always comes out like a can of String confetti. It also seems like I can never pump it enough to hear the seal pop.
You should never fill it all the way up. I’d say half way. Leave enough room for air. Use a 3:1 dilution for Brake Buster. Pump until your hear pshhhhhhh from the pressure relief valve. It also helps that I have a water softener system so clean water always helps with better foaming.
@@PanTheOrganizer Thanks. Earlier I was filling it up a lot but today I only filled a little less than halfway but did a dilution of 5:1 of brake buster from this video. I did get thick foam coming out but just didn't spray wide. Did you use more than one foam insert in the tip and does it matter what color insert you use inside? Green vs red, etc?
We just bought a 2018 Toyota sienna with a lot of embedded brake dust. Have you been able to test that with this product at all? Great videos by the way
If you have a lot of brake dust that is caked into the clear coat of wheels (and most probably your paintwork), you will want to use an iron remover like CarPro IronX. You would clean your wheels, and paintwork, and then use IronX.
This is not an iron remover per say. So once every two or three months, I would still recommend using an iron remover on wheels especially if you have a lot of break dust contamination.
Hey pan I was wondering if u have any ideas or tips for cleaning the window rubber or seal Because after I wash the car and put down the windows and back up it leaves streaks and makes Thanks pan
A car dryer like this: th-cam.com/video/5g_n3E97Brc/w-d-xo.html Or a leaf blower. Anything to remove water from nooks and crannies, that can drip and stain.
Hey Pat! so tried this product and for some reason it created rust spots on the brake rotors!! not sure if you know why that happened , and most importantly how do i remove it? and how do prevent this from happening again?? Thanks in advance!
Can you use the foam pump with foaming shampoo? I don't have a pressure washer and have been looking for something as an alternative to not being able to use a foam cannon.
Yes, a pump sprayer like the IK Foam 9 will give you a longer working time. Smaller versions will make you pump non stop if you want to foam your entire car.
To foam an entire car, you would need a bigger sprayer like the IK Foam 9, but even at that, it would take much longer to foam the entire car compared to a foam cannon and pressure washer setup, obviously. If you have a pressure washer, get a foam cannon. Pump sprayers are great for other tasks like cleaning wheels in this case.
Pan TheOrganizer I figured but I had to ask. I’m trying to be cheap and not buy a pressure washer. Thanks, Pan. Love the channel. I watched all your videos.
Hi, I've tried to find this answer on Google but no luck. So I thought with you being the car guru, then you might have it. I have the IK foam sprayer and I'm thinking of buying Bilt Hamper wheel cleaner. I can't find anywhere if this can be used in a foam cannon. Can any cleaner be turned into foam or does it have to have certain ingredients to achieve this?
The reason you can't find the answer is because that would be an off label use, which the manufacturer of the product can't guarantee the results, as too many factors would come into play here... The power and water flow of pressure washer used, dilution ratio, what foam cannon you're using, hard water vs soft water, etc. So you have to make your own tests.
i use that product and before use the product the tires is black, and after use the tires is dark brown , i used for three times and the tires is brown, how many gallons i have to use for get the tires black?
That means your tires haven't been deeply cleaned in a while. You might want to use something stronger like Super Clean diluted 3:1 to properly clean your tires. Then, during maintenance washes, use Brake Buster.
Pan, I used another wheel and tire cleaner and it stained my driveway black sealer coat. Will this product stain asphalt? And can it be diluted 5:1 if used in a regular spray bottle?
I never noticed this staining my driveway. I dilute it 3:1 in a pump sprayer or if I'm using it in my foam cannon, I use 60% Brake Buster and 40% water.
@@PanTheOrganizer I used armor all extreme wheel and tire cleaner straight from the spray bottle. Again, can I use the brake buster diluted in a spray bottle and get good results?
Hi Pan. I just had Xpel Plus wheel and caliper ceramic coating applied. I was wondering if you knew if P&S brake buster is safe on the coating? Thanks in advance.
I just bought some of the Brake Buster and an IK 2 foam sprayer. I’m having problems though with getting a wide spray pattern like you are. At first it was just a stream of foam. It’s super thick foam, but a straight stream. I tightened every thing and tried again with no luck. I switched out the grey nozzle for the orange one thinking that might be it. I also diluted it a bit more with water. This helped a bit where I’m now getting some spray at least, but it’s still nowhere near the fan pattern you have there. Thoughts?

I totally agree!! It increases your efficiency while cleaning wheels as it can double as a tire cleaner. Love it !!
Troy Parvaton You can dilute the product 5:1 so your gallon will last longer. Also foam draws dirt to the top of the foam and carries it off the wheels and tires.
How the quality of the product under dilution?
@@jakedampf8504 I use it at 5:1 and it works great.

I'm Sold! As a pro mobile detailer i work in the direct sunlight so I need a product that doesn't dry instantly. This product has such a long working time!!!!
Pan!! Can you PLEASE do a brand review of this?! You’re the man. I watch your videos daily, and only yours.
Thanks Nick! I appreciate your support!
i am almost out of a gallon mequires wheel brightner i have it is a strong cleaner doing a nice job on the wheels but
its not cheaper than this, it doesn't foam like this one ,its acid base so smells horrible ,and its for wheels only ,also its a killer for the spray bottles just melt the rubber in the bottle
so this one is a win doing a great job its strong its safe and its economical it is a winner definitely getting a gallon of it thanks for very informative and honest review you are killing it like always
thank you mr pan the organizer :)
My pleasure Bekir! Let me know how you like it once you test it! :)
I'm glad you did a review on this product. I just got some, from the Rag Co., and it works fantastic. I use it in a foam sprayer and it's going to replace the other wheel cleaners I've used in the past. Keep up the good work.
Thanks Stephen!
Bead maker I've been using for 2 months. It's AMAZING. keeps my car very clean from debree.
I agree!! Did you watch my popular Bead Maker review by the way? I did a funny intro in that one... Here: th-cam.com/video/J7uc4AlarpU/w-d-xo.html

Thanks, Pan! Another great review. I’ve been very pleasantly surprised by the P&S / Renny Doyle products. Excellent products and extremely affordable!
I agree! Thanks for the positive feedback about my videos!
Jed! Is that you? 😆
Thanks Pan! I have been using it for about 5 months now and this is now my go to wheel cleaner! Thanks for all the great video's !
Thanks Poman! How did you discover my channel by the way?
I have had a subscription with your channel for quite a while actually, I’m not into posting comments too often however.
What kinds of liquids do you use to properly clean off all the grease and black stains on the detailing brushes?
edit: You should do a video on cleaning and caring for all the detailing tools. Brushes, mitts, towels etc!
2 years late but I was just thinking the exact same thing.
👍
Super clean All Purpose Cleaner works very well for that use.
I just used this product on my Mercedes Benz E class and it did a fantastic job on the tires and wheels. I agree with your comments 100%.
Great to hear!
Thanks Mike! Yes for proper coating prep, you would want a full decontamination process as well, IPA wipe down, then coating.
Hey! Thanks, Pan!
I’ve got to get a full car & wheel decon before winter. Much appreciated :)
When your using P&S brake buster and you want to pour it in a spray bottle how much do you pour and do you add water??
The reason why I’m asking is because I barely started Detailing and well I want to know how to properly use the chemical without doing something wrong.
I don't use this in a regular spray bottle. I use it in a pump sprayer like in the video, diluted 3:1. Links in the description.
@@PanTheOrganizer okay I see we’ll right now I’m not able to use a pump sprayer so for the meanwhile I’m going to have to use a spray bottle that’s why I was asking how much ounce of water do I pour and how much brake buster do I pour in?
@@bryanaburto1108 for your 32oz spray bottle. Put 8oz P&S BRAKE BUSTER and 24oz water to get that 3:1 ratio.
Awesome Pan! Will be ordering this product. Thanks for the review!
Thanks Choon!
I used p&s once and never looked back and they are way better quality than all those over priced products out there
I have used Bead Maker and Brake Buster so far and love both products!
Thank you for all your content Pan! Quick question. I’m cleaning my wheels with the brake buster, how often should I spray some iron remover on the wheels?
Once every other month should be ok. Depending on how much brake dust your brakes generate.
Pan TheOrganizer thank you sir!
I use Bilt Hamber wheel cleaner but it is expensive I’m thinking this might be better if I can dilute this to make the wheel cleaner last longer. What do you think Pan?
I dilute it 60% Brake Buster and 40% water in a foam cannon in this video: th-cam.com/video/9QWk0ZFb6_I/w-d-xo.html
Or 3:1 in the pump sprayer as you saw in this video.
Great video as usual! Not in the local auto stores but, Amazon has it. I might give it a try. Thanks Pan!
Thanks Augie! You will like this. Plus it can double as a tire cleaner. Gets the job done quicker.
I use both Brake buster and Bead maker. The cars look very glossy and I've noticed my wheels stay cleaner longer with brake buster than some others that I've tried.
Thanks for sharing your experience with us Matt!
Going to get some of this stuff! Will let you know how it works. As always, thanks for the awesome videos!
Thanks Matthew!
Can the p&s brake buster be used on ceramic coated wheels? If not, what would you recommend for ceramic coated wheels? Thank you so much!
Yes it can.
Please review shine supply I love them
Hi Pan, thank you for your video, it's always a real pleasure to watch. In the comments below, I see several questions about the safety of this product on ceramic coated wheels, and you seem to say that there's no problem. Can I ask you why, since P&S Brake Buster is pH 11 ? We've always been told to use only pH neutral products on ceramic coated surfaces.
Hello Pan,
Is this product safe to use on ceramic coated wheels? BTW I love your channel and your Videos!
Yes it’s safe on coated wheels.
I have a Subaru STI and the brake dust is insane! (Small price to pay for the performance). I've used many wheel/brake cleaners, but none come close to this one. I now buy it by the gallon and keep those wheels looking amazing year-around!

@@PanTheOrganizer yes you are totally correct the price is great. Thanks a lot and I love your videos and I will keep watching.

Sorry Pan I love your videos but I have to say with that much agitation even the crappiest wheel cleaner will do the same job.
Galavanta I use bilt hamber apc 10:1
Thanks Jay! How did you discover my channel by the way?
Hi, sorry if this already mentioned but is it safe on satin black rims? Any suggestions? Thanks
Thanks for the review! Gotta give this a try 👍
Thanks for watching!
This is going to be a silly question but If i put this stuff in a foam cannon will it work the exact same as the pump sprayer?
Yes it will.
Another great demo. That stuff is great. Just ordered one. How many wheels would a full pump sprayer (40 oz) clean?
Thanks Richard! It depends how much product you like to spray, but in my testing, one full container of my IK Foam Pro 2 will last three to four tires washes, meaning 3 x 4 wheels or 4 x 4 wheels (12 to 16 wheels in total).
Brake Buster is awesome ...easy to use doesn't cost a lot for a gal. Great video
I agree!! Very low cost especially if you dilute it. Plus it increases efficiency while cleaning wheels as you can use the same product to clean your tires too. :)
Pan, another great review, you did another magnificent presentation 👍🏼
This time I was faster 😉and already bought PS tire and wheel cleaner week ago and tested couple of days ago. What a pleasant surprise in many ways, I am super impressed with the results and here are my few takeaways.
First I like that is not acid cleaner, which is very important.
Than, it does clear and clear perfectly both wheels and tire as well.
3rd I am big fan of the Adams products and using all of them ( my go to products )
and they are really good.
Price for PS Gallon is $29.99 and I can clean both wheels and tires.
To do the same job I had to buy Adams tire cleaner Gallon for 69.99
and also Adams tire cleaner for $59.99.
Again nothing against Adams, they are amazing just simple price comp.
What's even better, PS is that you can use with the foam pro 2 and save even more money with the same magnificent results. Really good products.
Not only that PS cleaning the wheels it's also giving them shine 👍🏼
I guess surprises never end.
Also when I was using PS and tested after with the Iron remover on the wheels, there was no iron left on the wheels because PS will clean wheels perfectly.
Another free benefit for products doing all, safe and very good price 🔥
On the side note I am planning to be in Montreal in 2 weeks,
maybe we can meet for a coffee if you have time ?

Is this safe on polished chrome n painted powder coated rims??? Basically all aftermarket rims? I got 1600 dollar rims so wanna make sure it wont harm them???
Same i wanne know i’m getting my rims powder coated
4:25 Pan is showing middle finger :D
Isn’t agitating the dirty surface with brake buster scratching the paint? Or am I too nitpicky? I spray brake buster 1:3 diluted on the dry dirty wheel so it sticks. Then I agitate just the tires. Then I rinse all off. Then I clean the rim with wash bucket + gyeon bath + microfiber tools. Then I final rinse and wash my car and dry it after and the wheels together. The wheels are definitely hyper clean :D I’m not sure if I still have the corrosion protection benefit anymore though, since I wash brake buster away with gyeon bath.
👍🏻
Thanks for watching Juan!
I have been using this for a month now and it really work good and I love the price
Thanks for sharing your experience!
Can diluted product be left in my IK Foamer between uses or must it be rinsed/wasted after each use?
You can leave it in there.
thanks for raising this question, I have been searching through all comments here :)
@@PanTheOrganizer I wonder how many wash would the whole 2 liter of diluted last? or maybe I should dilute it in the gallon first and pour a certain amount needed for a single wash into the foamer.
Ordered mine in Amazon the other day, can't wait to give it a try. Pan, can you do one of your famous product line reviews on P&S?
A "brand review" would be a great thing, especially for the Renny Doyle Double Black lineup at P&S.
Is it really worth getting the foamer as opposed to using it as a spray? Seems like the same results but the foam is just more satisfying to watch
It’s more economical with the foamer as you can dilute the product.
@@PanTheOrganizer and how do you know how much to dilute a certain chemical of it already comes in a spray bottle. Like for ex: P&S Brake Buster
Curious, and this may just be an error in the links. You show a IK Foam PRO 2 Sprayer in the video. However your link (in the USA) takes us to a IK Multi Pro Pump Sprayer.
I corrected the link. Here's the correct one: amzn.to/32atf7A
This is already my wheel chemical of choice. I dilute it 5:1 in an iK9. I'd like to see a review of P&S Xpress Interior Cleaner

Under general use does brake dust stain rotors? Rotors in your wheel cleaning videos don't seem to be stained.
I have never seen stained rotors regardless with which wheel cleaner I work with.
👍🏻👍🏻
How about using this as a engine compartment cleaner ?
Gino Bo if it is non-acid shouldnt be a problem.

Pan,
I want to thank you as 1 1/2 years ago I knew nothing about detailing.

Hey Pan. Did you try an iron remover after cleaning the the wheel to see if there is iron contamination?
Not yet. But that's a good idea.
Good video thanks
Any reason you never review Bilt Hamber products ? Very popular and highly regarded by detailers in UK 🇬🇧
Thanks! We don’t get BH in Canada unfortunately.
I have been using this for a few years now. Zero issues. This is a very popular product in the detailing community.
@@PanTheOrganizer good to hear. Perhaps the complaints come from people not knowing how to use it
Thank you for the awesome review.

Wheel Woolies Boar Hair brush for the wheel faces. Like in my Porsche first maintenance wash video that I dropped yesterday.

Wouldn’t it be easier to use a foam canon? Always wondered why an IK9 foam sprayer was used instead of a separate foam canon for the wheels.
No because you can’t control the dilution as well.
Can you dilute it in a regular sprayer too? I got the gallon and don’t want to use my only foamer. Seems to be a lot of product if used full strength.
It won’t foam in a regular sprayer.
@@PanTheOrganizer I understand that, but can it be diluted if not foaming it or needs to be full strength?
It can't be diluted without foaming, at least not to my knowledge.
Hey Pan, have you ever added an ounce or two OF an APC Green Star to a Brake Buster or Wise Guy in a foam cannon to boost the cleaning power?
I don’t like mixing chemicals from different brands.
Pan , thanks for the candid reply, I’m Going to try it when my auto fanatic wheel cleaner runs out.
Mothers wheel and tire cleaner (red bottle) found at Walmart and most automotive stores usually under $8 and same effect or better.
But hey, it's your money you do as you wish. ;)
@@PanTheOrganizer No No comment was made before I saw the dilution example. Definitely going to try, already ordered. Keep up the videos!

Yea I’m just waiting for the gallons to finish and I will try this cleaner. It’s worth a shot
Especially at that cheap price... And you can dilute it... No brainer. ;)
Pan TheOrganizer yea when I buy I’ll use two bottles .a straight bottle and another diluted bottle. Can’t wait.
Arriving in the mail today!!!! Can't wait to try it out!! Thanks, Pan!!!
Have fun!
Yes I showed the use from the bottle full strength, and diluted form in the IK sprayer.
Great video Pan. I’ve got a clarification question about what I’m experiencing after trying it for the first time. Loved the suds. Thank you for this review.
Thanks!

I rinsed the tires & wheels with water, they were cool & in the shade.
Desperately needing direction,
Cat
You need to repeat the tire cleaning until you see white foam. That's when you know the tires are fully cleaned and free of that browning. Watch my popular wheel and tire cleaning tutorial : th-cam.com/video/Ty4ZTq7A7rc/w-d-xo.html
I actually got this as a good way to cling to the wheel wells it self.
I bought the foamer and the product was wondering Pan if you could leave the Brake Buster in foamer
premixed or would it damage the foamer ?
I leave it in there.
Is this product intended to replace iron removers, or should I use this in conjunction with one?
This is not an iron remover per say. So once every two or three months, I would still recommend using an iron remover on wheels especially if you have a lot of break dust contamination.
Hey pan I was wondering if u have any ideas or tips for cleaning the window rubber or seal

A car dryer like this: th-cam.com/video/5g_n3E97Brc/w-d-xo.html
Or a leaf blower.
Yes you can
@@LovepreetAujla thank you
Yes, a pump sprayer like the IK Foam 9 will give you a longer working time. Smaller versions will make you pump non stop if you want to foam your entire car.
works great on my Toyota 86 wheels, but what do you suggest for chrome wire wheels such as those on a classic Jaguar.
Can that pump sprayer work well as a foam cannon to detail a car or is it better just to leave it to cleaning the wheels?
To foam an entire car, you would need a bigger sprayer like the IK Foam 9, but even at that, it would take much longer to foam the entire car compared to a foam cannon and pressure washer setup, obviously. If you have a pressure washer, get a foam cannon. Pump sprayers are great for other tasks like cleaning wheels in this case.
Pan TheOrganizer I figured but I had to ask. I’m trying to be cheap and not buy a pressure washer. Thanks, Pan. Love the channel. I watched all your videos.
I love the foaming action, cannot wait to try it for myself!!!! Got a gallon on the way.
Thanks for watching!
Can you give me the link for buy the product that you say? Thanks
You just sold some! Love that product. If it's cheaper than chemical guys Diablo I'm sold. Thank you
You are going to love this. 👍🏻
Hi Pan. I just had Xpel Plus wheel and caliper ceramic coating applied. I was wondering if you knew if P&S brake buster is safe on the coating? Thanks in advance.
Yes it’s safe. Just don’t overuse it.
@@PanTheOrganizer thank so much for the reply… by overuse do you mean not too often (usually maintenance wash once a week) or not diluted enough?
I just bought some of the Brake Buster and an IK 2 foam sprayer. I’m having problems though with getting a wide spray pattern like you are. At first it was just a stream of foam. It’s super thick foam, but a straight stream. I tightened every thing and tried again with no luck.
I switched out the grey nozzle for the orange one thinking that might be it. I also diluted it a bit more with water. This helped a bit where I’m now getting some spray at least, but it’s still nowhere near the fan pattern you have there.
Thoughts?
