This gives me genuine chills. The idea it gives me is that, instead of washing ashore on Mata Nui, the canisters were instead sent to some distant world by mistake, and the toa just… never woke up. And decades later, Tahu’s scattered bones have been found by the Galaxy Explorer crew.
This is awesome! I like how it adds a bit of lore that the Classic spacemen and Bionicle were connected, and like The bionicles are an ancient civilisation.
@@lordofthesandvich171 the legend just refers "time before time" as before the mata nui camouflage island came into being, which before then the entire universe and the characters already existed so its ambiguous on which era bionicle's spanning storyline takes place in
Atlantis? I hope you mean Aquazone?! ;D Atlantis is sooo nxt gen ... the Aquanauts and Aquaraiders on the other hand ... th-cam.com/video/1J9Kty5CjeA/w-d-xo.html video from "beyond the bricks" about a mega moc built in co-op by 24 ppl. Aquazone themed - so awesome :)
I really like the idea that this was also a toa canister “sent from the heavens” like the original 6 toa mata in 2001 but unlike those, it got lost in space ending up where’s it’s seen here
The build and integration of bionicle parts is stunning- the canister build looks really good, but the sunken mask is next level. Honestly reminded me of the space jockey from alien. May you bionicle fans get the stars.
Im remembering the first time I got tahu at a shop an I smell the inside of canisters when I opened it when I got home. man it’s like it all happened yesterday.
This is so cool. What an homage to both themes. In the midst of Bionicle having a fan resurgence and Space having a retail resurgence, this couldn't have come at a more perfect time. Well done!
I never expected a Bionicle Easter egg in the Galaxy Explorer set. I didn’t even know that till I watched this video. Anyways, this is one of the best mocs you ever made
Such a great diorama combining two of my all time favorite themes. Glad lego even acknowledged Bionicle in the new Galaxy Explorer for us to get this in the first place!
This was an absokute joy to watch. I would absolutely pay for a set like this. Something that commemorates the two themes, both have a loving and passionate fanbase.
It genuinely warms my heart seeing Bionicle referenced in other Lego themes. It’s nice to see that even for as weird and different it was compared to what Lego is used to nowadays they still had a soft spot for the theme
You, sir, are the Bob Ross of Lego. You're making a build, everything is going smooth, and all of a sudden, you do something that makes *no* sense, maybe even seems worse. But then, maybe immediately, maybe later, you finish what you had started, and it *blows* my *mind.* And then you put the final touches in, step back, and there lays a masterpiece! 2:20 - 2:38 and 4:14 for example. Keep up the amazing work!
Imagine that you created a Ben 10 MOC. Wouldn't that be a really good way to increase ratings for your channel? If so, then you are making a fan really, really happy. Thanks for considering this generous option, if you really are considering it.
Great background and storytelling! The build had some cool clever ideas that made lots of sense. The only thing I was half-expecting was the canister put down at an angle. Maybe that could be made with snotted slopes?
I love this so much, both themes are defined by exploring a foreign world and the enticing mystery of the unknown. They surrprisingly fit well together and it's really fun as if you put the characters next to each other one has LEGO's most edgy and serious aestetics and the other is the most adorable
Really sick! It does look a bit odd having the galaxy explorer there, and all the sand beneath it is completely undisputed though but that's not important lol.
This was fantastic. The only one tiny tiny nitpick I have is how the Bionicle pod looks like it's placed perfectly flat/level eith the ground, but I love the brick built cylinder you've used, that was really surprising.
Fun tribute! I especially liked your various techniques for partially 'burying' the Bionicle parts in the sand - a small thing that really adds to the presentation. I've always thought that a lot of iconic Bionicle scenes and locations would look great in traditional System. Unfortunately, most System builders don't seem interested and most Bionicle builders (myself included) don't have the parts or the System MOCing know-how to really pull them off!
Wow🤩 Do you take your mocs apart after building or do you set them up somewhere, or does it depend on the build?(sorry if this has been answered before)
I bought this set and I've wanted to build this exact same scenario. Thanks for give us all instructions! I wouldn't mind seeing more mocs incorporating the new Galaxy Explorer models
Lol I just built the Galaxy Explorer the other day and didn't understand the reference until now. Thanks for explaining it to us and making a cool moc out of it
This is one of my favorite videos I've ever done.
This is easily my favourite moc that you have done.
It's one of my favourites videos as well
This MOC is definitely one of if not the best you’ve done!
They way you integrated the bionical pieces with system bricks gave me jitters😊
Master class!!!
Scary O_O
Oh, the nostalgia this brings. Bionicle never dies!
Now they gotta make sets of the other Toa
🙏
This is a really cool MOC, my guy! Keep up the good work!
The fans shall give it eternal life!
This is awesome! I like how it adds a bit of lore that the Classic spacemen and Bionicle were connected, and like The bionicles are an ancient civilisation.
Yeah, I love the reference in the Galaxy Explorer for this reason
They did say that Bionicle took place “In the time before time.”
@@lordofthesandvich171 the legend just refers "time before time" as before the mata nui camouflage island came into being, which before then the entire universe and the characters already existed so its ambiguous on which era bionicle's spanning storyline takes place in
You should do more like this but with other themes like Power Miners, Lego Atlantis, other space themes, or even Hero Factory this is awesome
This is so cool. Imagine the bionicles were giant mechs from a different galaxy and live in the same universe with the lego figures.
May you bionicle fans get the stars.
i love how all the bionical pieces fit so perfect in the sand! amazing build 🙌🔥
This moc is truly incredible. Captures that mystery bionicle had that is so hard to recreate. Amazing work.
SUPER cool! I’ve never seen Bionicle and system integrated in this neat of a way before!
Im remembering the first time I got tahu at a shop an I smell the inside of canisters when I opened it when I got home. man it’s like it all happened yesterday.
I feel like I missed out on something. I’ve never played with bionicle. This diorama is absolutely incredible!
Bro, Bionicle is still worth checking out
I have the galaxy explorer anniversary set and I think it’s probably my favourite set from any line that legos created
This is so cool. What an homage to both themes. In the midst of Bionicle having a fan resurgence and Space having a retail resurgence, this couldn't have come at a more perfect time. Well done!
One of the best MOCs I've ever seen
Ideas like this are why hachiroku is on a whole different tier of Lego TH-camrs
I didn’t grow up with bionicle. I didn’t get up with classic space. But damn. This goes so insanely hard it is unreal.
I never expected a Bionicle Easter egg in the Galaxy Explorer set. I didn’t even know that till I watched this video. Anyways, this is one of the best mocs you ever made
The quality of everything in this video is amazing!!
Such a great diorama combining two of my all time favorite themes. Glad lego even acknowledged Bionicle in the new Galaxy Explorer for us to get this in the first place!

This just shows LEGO fans Doesn't want the Bionicle Series to die.
First Classic Space Diorama you make.
I love Classic Space!
I like how the text was used to show your thought process and give a backstory to the MOC.
This is a nostalgia home fuckin run, thank you, truly I can’t express how excited I am to see this build (I literally just started the video)
Putting the helmet piece halfway into the ground was genius!!
What a delightful build! So many really fun techniques to "bury" the Technic parts.
this music, with the scenario you have reconstructed, seems to be in a liminal space
Imagine that you created a Ben 10 MOC. Wouldn't that be a really good way to increase ratings for your channel?
If so, then you are making a fan really, really happy. Thanks for considering this generous option, if you really are considering it.
This might be my favorite MOC that you’ve done.
Great narrative/storytelling in a single scene.
I like the idea of classic space meeting other themes
Great background and storytelling! The build had some cool clever ideas that made lots of sense. The only thing I was half-expecting was the canister put down at an angle. Maybe that could be made with snotted slopes?
I am not yet familiar with a slope with side studs.
This build is absolutely Stunning! I love the why you used slopes to create holes in the sand.
This is such a cool idea and execution. Im still so sad the portal moc didn't become a set :.)
This is nostalgic as heck! Thank you for making this
Very cool. Awesome use of gaps in the floor to make the parts look partially buried.
Can’t help but feel like nostalgic memories. Great collaboration with Bionicle and Classic Spaceman. Best MOC yet!
3:31 just a few of them?
I love this so much, both themes are defined by exploring a foreign world and the enticing mystery of the unknown. They surrprisingly fit well together and it's really fun as if you put the characters next to each other one has LEGO's most edgy and serious aestetics and the other is the most adorable
Always love to see Bionicle. This looks nice!
Please make a build tutorial for a brick built lego version of The Titan Joker from the Batman Arkham Asylum Video Game please
Really sick! It does look a bit odd having the galaxy explorer there, and all the sand beneath it is completely undisputed though but that's not important lol.
Whenever you create MOCS, do you destroy them after or keep some of them. Love this video
Building your own toa canister is so cool. I love the simplicity here.
Fantastic!!
I always wanted to see this, it looks very awesome!
This moc it's from the time before time.
The love of Bionicle amidst the influential Lego community in comparison to the actual company is just so uncanny.
incredible job fitting the body parts into the ground
What a creative MOC! Super cool to see 2 iconic Lego themes brought together in such a cool build! Keep up the Amazing work!
Bionicles is one of the themes that Lego made
This was fantastic.
The only one tiny tiny nitpick I have is how the Bionicle pod looks like it's placed perfectly flat/level eith the ground, but I love the brick built cylinder you've used, that was really surprising.
This is easily one of the best lego mocs I've ever seen
They never built themselves….the heroic Lego space men built the toa!
That is an absolutely fantastic idea for a build, and a great execution too! Might have to do my own version to add to the collection!
Amazing Moc and excellent editing as always.
Quickly skipped to emd to see the moc and it is awsome, keep up the good work👍
It brings a whole new meaning to IN THE TIME BEFORE TIME
Classic Space, like classic cars, will fascinate us until the singularity comes.
Ooof...... Right in the nostalgia 🥹 phenomenal video my dude. This was such an incredible idea.
Seeing the thumbnail and understanding the Easter egg reference felt so good lol, great moc as usual!
I swear there are so many configurations that people make of that Galaxy Explorer, I might have to buy two more
Looks great, this is kind of BIONICLE tribute fans expected from LEGO two years ago, at its 20th anniversary :)
a relic of a bygone age
Banger🎉🎉
2:49,4:33,5:16 masterpiece moc beyond the 2 decade. That looks amazing 😁👍👍
This is so beautiful I could cry. I'd buy this in a second.
Lego should really bring back those cylindrical containers, they are awesome!
This one is friggin gorgous. Makes me want to buy a bunch of those rings to build something like it.
Amazing.
You have just done what my friends have been trying to do for decades. Get me to like bionicle
This is just beautiful, and the space for the mask blow my mind. I can't beliebe how good can fit in there. 😍
I like how this could suggest that Bionicles are ancient eldritch beings in the lego universe lol
A bit of water would make it even better, giving it more beach vibe.
Imagine that all original lego themed (non collabs) are in the same universe
Two of my absolute favorites
Distant relics of a long forgotten past
So therapuetic and calming...
Great hommage
Im a simple man. I see Bionicle and i get excited.
So THIS is why everyone loves Bionicle. I get it now
Lol I just built the Galaxy Explorer the other day and didn't understand the reference until now. Thanks for explaining it to us and making a cool moc out of it
This is a really nice piece you built here.
HachiRoku24 your absolutely INCREDIBLE 🥳
This made me feel nostalgic
Never got into the G1 Bionicle sets but this is fantastic. Always love to see your creative parts usage.
Now this was a good idea
Hi hachiroku24, I was wondering if in the future could you make a Lego Mad Max Delorean?
This looks so nostalgic...
Great work👌
Always a pleasure watching your builds!
Now this I'm certainly into. Love it
This is so specifically only cool to lego nerds and I love it it’s so sick
Very impressive, such a beautiful build!
Personally not a huge bionicle fan, but this rocks.
Yes !!! More classic space and bionicle pleeease 💥💥💥
