- Quick video showing how to install the Carobotor J Pro digital cluster in a Jeep Wrangler JK. I recently saw a few posts on social media regarding this cluster and was amazed by all the features. Unfortunately no one ever tested it with Right hand drive JK.. Until today! I can confirm everything works very well. If you do want one, just contact carobotor on Instagram or WhatsApp and they'll reply as soon as possible.

What happens if you end up not likening this and you put your original cluster back in after driving on this for let’s say 3000 miles? Does your original cluster show the correct mileage?

can you adjust the brightness of the screen?
when it startup it show Carobotor name , can you change that
does it lag , slow or freeze ?
Screen dims to a very perfect brightness when turning headlights on, startup logo cannot be changed. I've had this for a bit now and can't fault it👍
Wish one of these companies could make a really nice universal digital cluster to retrofit in any vehicle.

Do the gauges light up when you open driver door or do they only light up when you turn ignition?
Any idea when the K1 head unit will be available? I’ve reached out to Carobotor several times, but have not received an answer. They were great after purchasing the J-Pro, but have since fallen off the face of the earth. Thanks!
Can this digital cluster show like the backup sensors? Can I use my factory steering wheel control switch in Jeep jk 2015 like you did or do I have to change it? Also I seen tpms….how does it register that I have that on my tires?
Yes the factory buttons will still work but it cannot show back up sensors. Tpms is read by your factory jeep computer so the cluster just reads the data from there😊

If you have any issues you can contact Carobotor directly. They'll help if you have issues and the j pro comes with 12 months warranty. If you want to plug your factory cluster back, just do the same as my video but plug the t harness to the factory cluster instead

What model and year is your car that you installed this in? I have been in contact with them, they say that they have yet to test it on a 3.8 engine. I drive a 2011 3.8 wrangler unlimited Sahar, so if it works on your 3.8 then it should work on mine as well.
I've sold one to a 3.8 with new interior and he has no issues :)
I forgot to ask does the uconnect phone button still work on the steering wheel?
What does the asterisk (*) mean next to the phone button on the replacement buttons? Thanks
No the uconnect button is replaced by the ok button. I'm not sure why they've put an asterisk though!
I was wondering if you lose the voice recognition button control from the steering wheel? I see the VR button is replaced by OK. I like being able to use voice recognition from the wheel. Did they move it to another button? Thanks
Yes they replaced the 've button so you can navigate through the cluster. If you message them they might be able to reprogram it to one of the rear buttons of the steering

Yes it's compatible with 2011-2018 JKS
I just got my gauge cluster and was wondering about the buttons also. Are they for the jeeps that didn’t have the menu options before?
The buttons they give you are totally optional if you have 2012 and above but if you're a bit fussed about the layout of the factory buttons then you can replace it with the one they give you🙂👍

What year is your jeep. I see it had the analog cluster, but you have a push to start.

I just installed mine today, love it. My Jeep is also RHD, and wanted to ask if you also had to slightly trim the bottom left bracket that holds the instrument cluster? Mine didn't fit, I just had to cut off a few mm of that bracket and all good.
Congratulations! Yes bottom left screw didn’t fit so I just skipped it :)
@@GMCARTECH Ah ok, was wondering if I was alone (already happened to me once lol) but yeah, if you want it perfect, just slice the corner off at a diagonal, I used a multi tool.

Wonder how it displays with a manual jeep?
I spoke to them and its compatible with all JKs Manual or auto and diesel or petrol. Pretty sure it'll just show the speed numbers 🙂
Actually found out a bit more about it. It'll still work with diesel but the display will be the same as petrol. For the manual transmission it won't show 12345 but will still work perfectly fine
