Agreed. I bought one. Wouldn’t recommend. They will sell you on it and respond quickly pre purchase, but after purchase they are nonexistent with help. Most features don’t work. Compass, tire pressure, etc.

It caught my eye when I first saw it a couple of months ago. A lot of reports of it still being glitchy which I'm sure could be resolved via software updates but a Chinese company operating out of Canada on an unsecured website and the only way to get a hold of them is via WhatsApp...that's just a lil too sketchy to to roll the dice for $1200
Yah you definitely can’t be cautious effect in today’s world but my personal experience has been great so far. I will update you guys along the way!

One of the coolest upgrades I did on my 2000xj was a dash display upgrade... I simply swapped out the stock dash display for an aqua sea greenish color...that simple upgrade was a beautiful addition

Mall crawler cool jeep “accessories” are gears, Dana 60 axles, chrome molly shafts, V8 motor, upgrade diff lockers exc. but with that digital dash some neon headlights with angry eyes and some stickers your going to be the coolest Jeep in the mall parking lot.

Hey hey love this instrument cluster and have been following Carobotor for a min now. How are you liking it? Any problems? And the one thing I’ve noticed is the check engine light coming on and being on with some units after install.. what’s the deal on that and how do you fix it?
I was all set to buy this upgrade after seeing your video (thanks for the step-by-step install!), until I started reading over the forum on their website. A lot of people are pretty unhappy that there is a huge lack of customer service when they have a problem AND I'm a bit put off with their website. The descriptions contain misspelled words and are not complete sentences, as if a person is translating to English from another language. The price is a bit steep for me to overlook the lack of customer service!!

These are sold by all sorts of Chinese distributors, look up 'JK Digital Dash' on AliBaba. Carobotor just imports them into Canada. I would not recommend any of it.
do not i have a list of issues i had with mine. At highway speeds it throws the jeep into hill descent mode, no speedometer, traction control, etc. After I removed it i haven't had any issues. Not to mention it stops the inverter from working. They delete support requests and comments on the site and ignore the shit out of you.

This is soo cool man. In the next video, Can you please show how the dash dimmer works with the car dimmer button and how it looks at night ? I travel a lot in my Jeep in the dark and I like all the screens dimmed but still easy to see details. Cheers
It automatically dims when the headlights are engaged. It is not distracting or too bright at night.

Thanks! No glare as the light doesn’t really hit the screen and it has a matte like finish. I don’t believe there is any warranty but I will find out and advise in the review video. Yes the old cluster can fit back anytime. Thanks again

I like the computer that comes with my Jeep Renegade Trailhawk it has the two real needles with speed and tacho but the middle is just like that.

if you already have controls in your steering wheel, you might not have to. I just installed my Carobotor and I'm using the controls that came with the car. They work great.
Ok looks like you didn’t have the connectivity package since the Uconnect and Evic buttons were missing on the left side... what did you have to do in order to make them work? Did you have to get the dealership to activate Uconnect and Evic?

I see a ton of questions, but no replies. The check engine light is on after the swap. What caused it and was it resolved? To repeat another question posted, can the OEM dash be reinstalled with updated mileage? What would it take?

@@adventuredex Was it just a bug with the initial config, or have you had problems with the new dash displaying the correct PSI numbers? I've seen a couple videos on the dash, and both seem to have issues with displaying the correct PSI numbers.
@@Gzus The PSI misread is just because Dex doesn't have his tmps sensors in his wheels :)
Caution...a bunch of guys had a wholesale distribution deal worked out with them for digital dash and carbon fiber steering wheels and got screwed. It's on a bunch of forums. They reached out to all the big Jeep TH-camrs. Let's just say there's a reason why nobody else took them up on their offer.

Still working great, no issues. If you’re looking for something to update your jeep I highly recommend it. To be honest I don’t really use much of the features on a day-to-day basis but it’s a major upgrade from the analog dash. I also believe my code is still available if you want to save a few bucks. JeepWave

Hey, brother. I love the product just a little weary of all the issues I’ve read about online. Can you do a “issues” review on it? Your vid showed glitchy PSI reading. I definitely don’t mind dropping 1200 on the product, I want to make sure it’ll last longer than a few months.
Totally agreed bro! $1,200 is a lot to spend. So far I have not had any issues. The psi reading is because I don’t have my TPM installed on my aftermarket wheels. I will be changing that tho. I will also be doing an updated video to let y’all know if anything changes 👍🏼

@@kenmonpittman No regrets, I still love it. Only issues i've found are that the automatic headlights seem to overreact, they turn on/off when going under a bridge on the interstate for example. And a few times it has reset the custom settings back to defaults when I start the jeep. Not sure why but it's not a big deal to switch it back to mph instead of kph. :) I haven't contacted them yet to see if there might be a firmware update. I'd still buy it again though.
