I was SO thrilled to see your video on the KS campaign Taylor! Love your thoughts and clear description of gameplay as always, thank you for making this video! Amy
OH MY GOSH!! Thanks a ton, Amy!!! 🤩🙌This comment is beyond sweet and means so much, especially coming from y'all!!! 🤗🤗 Did the theme land well with Maggie? 🤞
Coming back to this video after the new kickstarter. When I was looking at the kickstarter I wasn't as interested, but now that I watched your video again and remembered all the cool parts, immediate back! Thanks as always Taylor!!
"Oh man. I don't know anything I don't like about this game, which is bad, because it's a paid review, and I probably should find something bad, so people believe me". In a world awash with dodgy paid reviews of half-baked games - the honesty of this comment, plus the desperate look on your face, was enough to convince me to back it.
Hahahaa!! Thanks, Craig!! I should stop doing paid reviews for good games, it's too tough of a situation! And I stand by my main negative point: bugs=bad. I guess bees are ok, they get a pass. But ants are on thin ice and the rest can stop existing as soon as possible.
Oh woahhh, thanks a ton for your amazing comment, Pat!!! 🤩🙌 Thinker Themer are THE BEST and have been soooooo kind!! 🤗 It's so awesome to see all the amazing people coming over and saying such nice things 😍 Cheers!!
just so you know, I have been on a quest-probably lifelong- to find a copy of Peters two Sheepdogs. Curse you, good sir. All the best.@@ClaudeAndTaylor
Thanks Taylor! Do you, or anyone else, have thoughts on the two player variant? I tend to mostly play games at 2 player count and already have a decent number of two player TTs so would only want to back this if it also is an interesting play at two.
James, what are some of your favorite two players? That's a void I want to fill and Herloff and Fox In The Forest Duet usually do the trick, but I'm down for chunkier stuff too!
@@kraken_on_a_stick Also Triumvirate is very good too. I think Taylor did a a review. I wish they would do a reprint/retheme. I may do my own retheme with an astronomy theme.
Maybe I missed this, but what happens when there is a tie in suit strength? For example, if the led suit is black, and the next two players play blue and red (both with the same value, e.g. a blue 6 and a red 6). Black is currently strength 1, and blue and red are currently strength 2. Who wins?
Hey Carl, if there is ever a tie between suit strengths, you will first look at the value of the cards involved. Highest value wins. If they are still tied (of identical value), the person who played the card later in turn order would win. In your example, black was led, blue 6, then a red 6. Then the red 6 would win! :)

@@patobrien4037 So sorrry!!!!
Thanks table. I hadn't heard of the game and signed up for the kickstarter after your thoughts.
That's Taylor! Tables kind of a jerk but tries. I'm excited for the Kickstarter too!
That's so awesome to hear, Patricio!!🤩🙌I hope you like it as much as I do 😍
@@kraken_on_a_stick These names are too much! I need to start wearing nametags!
Sucks that this game didn't reach its goal, it looks so good! Hopefully we can drum up more support for this game someday!
Oh totally, Minato!!! I've heard from the developer that they are hoping to try again soon with a new approach to make it fund. Super excited!! 😁🙌

@@kraken_on_a_stick do you mean two player Trick taking games, or games in general? For two player trick taking, my favorite is Jekyll vs Hyde.
@@phryas Thanks a great one!
I sadly have yet to play this at 2.. I've only played at 3, 4, and 5. I should try and get a play of it at 2 soon and report back!

Hey Taylor-curious which other mancala game you were referencing at the final thoughts of this video?
Hey Marcy! The game is called Peter's Two Sheep Dogs and there's a video for it here: th-cam.com/video/4JHFGzmJ-4M/w-d-xo.html
