The Passion 1997 David Benson Jeremy Weller Grassmarket Project

During the week-long run of my show Think No Evil of Us: My Life With Kenneth Williams at the Tron Theatre, Glasgow in early 1997, I was interviewed by BBC Scotland for a documentary on the work of director Jeremy Weller of the Grassmarket Theatre Project. I worked with the GMP on their first Fringe First Award-winning play Glad at the 1990 Edinburgh Fringe and continued to work closely with Weller and his teams in a series of ground-breaking shows: Mad (1992), One Moment (1993) and 20/52 (1995).
In 1996 I broke away to begin creating my own work as a solo performer with Think No Evil of Us.
