I don’t count macros on my OMAD situation, but I’ve recently (and simply) been drinking an extra half cup per day of double / heavy cream to boost the fat intake. 💩 is perfect, full satiety - it seems to be working… and I’ve had full blood panels carried out to make sure everything is still fine.
    Good luck to you.

I cannot consistently eat 1800 calories a day without a couple of refeed days of 2,200-2,300 calories. After four days of eating 1800 this week, tonight it's 2,205 and I'm okay with that.

From a fellow binge eater, I'm wondering if that feeling of not feeling satiated after meals may eventually backfire. Is there a way for you to eat a little more at each meal to where you feel satiated, but not stuffed so maybe you're still in a calorie deficit, but don't feel deprived? Whenever I restrict too long, I end up bingeing after a while. But you know you, so maybe this doesn't apply. Either way, meal prepping is great and good luck to you! 🙂

for your goal and interest perhaps experiment with this (both temporary) - rather than increase fat to handle mild constipation, supplement with magnesium powder, and for both wishing to eat larger quantity of food but continue/accelerant weight loss, use moderate fat meats - revert to a healthier high fat meat to test satiety every now and then

Love your idea! Meal prep is a great strategy to stay on track with calorie reduction. Maybe something to consider: on a continuous calorie restriction diet, your metabolism can adjust to the reduction and stall your progress. Maybe to keep your body guessing, average 1800/day with 3 days at 1800 followed by 2 days at 1600 and 2 days at 2,000? Or something like that.

Plase, Allow me to ask a couple of question about the Carnivore diet.Sorry fo i alredy posted before but i dont know what to do :
I am now over 150 days into a Strick Carnivore diet (I only eat meat and eggs. Nothing else 500-600g of COCKED meat plus 7-8 eggs in a day. All Divided in 2 meals) I am now 35 years old, 181cms tall, 180lbs(+-81,5kg) at +-22%BF. I go to the gym 2-3 times a week.(lift weigths to help sustain or increase muscle mass and assist fat loss- HIT Workouts).
I started the Carnivore diet to improve my body composition. I was a HEALHTY guy with NO chronic illnesses or health problems.
I lost about 17 lbs in the first 6 weeks (Mostly water) but since then I haven't been able to change my body composition. I have now gone more than 8 weeks without registering any body changes (weight loss, decrease in BF% or measurements). In fact i have gained 2,5 lbs in the last 3 weeks but might be just water.
I still need to lose at least another 15lbs of fat to reach my goal of being below 15%BF. However, I don't see how the Carnivora Diet will facilitate this process. I have not experienced most of the benefits common to Carnivores (Improved sleep, more energy/disposition, etc.) nor can I change my body composition.
So I would like to ask more experienced Carnivores:
1- How long should I extend my experience with the Carnviroa diet to be able to lose the excess bodyfat I still have?(at least 15lbs of fat)
2- What is the minimum time you should maintain a Carnivora diet when it is not working for you?
3-Is the Carnivore diet effective for those who are aldreay healthy and just need to improve body composition?
I am affraid this way of eating is too restrictive, for a healthy person, with no aditional benefit from any other whole food diet.
PS: Most of my time as a CArnivre i have not experience most Carnivore benefits or lost any body fat.
Also, Sorry for any grammar mistake, i am Brazilian and english is not my first language.
    Thank you for your attention!

Jen, if possible, I'd love some brief info on the meat slicer you chose. Specifically, what you like most & least about it, & why you chose that one. I've been shopping them, yet keep getting hung up on the reviews; "plastic guard is flimsy/doesn't slice thin enough/bounces around on counter/cannot sharpen blades, must replace them"~ stuff like that. I could be overthinking it, but I put a lot of thought into the very few appliances I have room for... since I don't really. =) Thx for any add'l info you care to pass on~ Sam in AZ

Meal prepping is a great idea. The brisket jerky looked amazing. It's on my to try list. IMO, meal prepping early in your carnivore journey is one of the best tactics. Having proper food available to firght through those sugar, carbs, fruit, and processed food cravings is essential. Calories in the beginning shouldn't be a concern. Once the body heals (feeling no pain and more energy) and if you have stalled experiment with the changing up calories, cheeses, dairy, fat, and protein.

I love that you do meal prep! so organized! I am on Carnivore for health purposes, but I keep hearing that if people want to lose weight, don't count calories (unless you think youre under 1800 or 2000 per day) because if you do a calorie deficit your weight loss will stall. Really what you do is concentrate on getting enough protein and its important to get enough fat to sustain you until your next meal so you dont crave then snack. You really want to avoid being hungry on Carnivore, that is the beauty of it, eat til youre full. I think you look great! I'm rooting for you all the way!!!

I happen to have the same 4x7 pyrex dishes, which are not usable in the instapot, because those plastic lids won't work.
I found silicone replacement lids for ALL of my pyrex dishes and bowls.
The brand is 'Sophico' and they fit like a glove. I pressed the lid down before putting it on tight and it held a vacuum.
And yes, I did test them in the instapot.
And, yes, I found them on Amzn. Decent prices and well worth it, IMO.
