This is a great idea. I have a weighted blanket and I don’t like it on my feet. This is a perfect way to customize the size and color.
Very nice tutorial, easy to follow. Thank you.

I made one recently. So much fun! I used pony beads from Walmart. They have a larger hole so that I can use a 4mm hook! I also made mine with 1 row beads and 2 rows hdc. Turned out wonderful!

This is beautiful. Can you explain why you're switching crochet hooks?

My sister has three large dogs that are all afraid of thunder and firework noise. I thought I might try this to make them weighted coats! Wish me luck. 🤪

I am making a small blanket for myself. LB Schitt's Creek bone colored yarn with royal blue beads. Thanks for the tutorial. It's easier than I originally thought.

I always laugh when I see crochet videos for projects that have existed for several years by other creators that seem to go viral every few years on rotation. 😂

If you knew this existed for years you could at least credit the original artist?? She did in this video, very commendable to credit where she found this pattern.

Are these beads able to be put in the washing machine and dryer?

I would probably do a cold water wash, in a washer bag, then hang to dry...im wondering too because it would probably shrink if not careful

Any idea where I can get 16mm pearl beads with 2.5 mm hole for crochet? I’m looking everywhere can’t seem to find them!
