A few things you might want to know : -you can fight 2 Titans. They are, by far, the most challenging fights of the game. And they are completely unique fights. Consider them more like a long siege with several twists (won't spoil there). Winning over them is what I consider "winning" the game, honestly. They are the culmination of the Rabbit and Orc/Goblins questline -Geomancer is not random at all. You need to do the Rabbit questline for it (start by leaving food when prompted in event). Eventually, they'll ask to make someone a geomancer. It is tedious and costly to level them up, however.
I was aware of one of the titans, cool to know there are two! And ah, with the geomancer I was under some bad advice from people then! After the game hit the end game and It got so laggy I just assumed that bit of the quest didn't happen for me. Likely would have happened eventually then! Thank you so much for the info! :D
Wait. Not random, but the consequence of a choice from an event? Is this event guaranteed or something? Or is it more a "just a matter of time before it events" kind of thing?

Many thanks for all the work you do on ACE. It has always been one of my cherished games - despite its performance on my old hardware. After a long time of not being able to launch it to anything but a black screen I managed to finally fix that issue and have been enjoying replaying it with all the additions you guys so very thematically and tastefully threw into the game. Excellent job and you have certainly helped keeo the game alive for very many people!
Watching Lathrix play this game was how I discovered both it and, if I remember correctly, his channel I would like to add: the letter "H" is pronounced as "aitch"
Yes. Riot told them they had 6months or so to finish the game, then they made them work on Riot's projects. Although, by the dev's own admission, they bite more than they could chew. It was their first game on their own, and they had scopes too high. Making their own engine, mix RPG-town builder, free form building, voxel.... It was a lot for a small team.
But a lot of them went on to help create the ACE mod, which the original developers basically have condoned as a continuation of what the base game could have been
I feel like these past couple of months coming back to old games in this format has been a blast! I hope you continue to revisit old games for our entertainment!

I love the idea that Mark grows into a highly intelligent, immortal dragonking and everyone in town keeps treating him like a pet, calling him Mark and feeding him scraps of meat during dinner.

Oh how I missed this game, I love how you are going back through the games you played in the past. If you are continuing this trend please play Avorion again, it has had some interesting updates were you now need building knowledge to progress that requires either money, ore or killing pirates (my favourite).

10:23 I also noticed that every time I had trouble getting value I could just build another house and it would fix the problem. By the end of most playthroughs the majority of the value of the settlement comes from buildings.

Lathrix is raiding the gaming treasure chest for all the gems! Makes everything seem so easy and fun, my gaming itches are screaming bloody murder but all my time slots are already filled. So I'll have to live vicariously through Lathrix's videos and I cannot have a better substitute!
Ahh the nostalgic gem that is stonehearth, one of my first sim games I ever got that I didn’t put much into when I first got it. But then I really got in to it and I remember when it was still being developed. It’s sad that stonehearth suffered the same fate as starbound or vice versa witch ever was abandoned first, however thankfully they were abandoned in playable states and thus the community took over. Thanks for reminding me of the joy that is stonehearth lath!

Man I miss this, watching you play this years ago. I've got a little over 100 hours in the game maybe more but I gave up because the building was far too frustrating, as there was no way to undo mistakes. It really tested my patients. Thank you for the enjoyable video.

I did fight them in ACE. But they are mechanically similar. So, if you win against the first, you'll likely win the other.
