I think the “strings” for the beads are more geared toward little kids. I think one end is purposefully made that way so they don’t have to worry about picking it up accidentally and having all the needs slide off the other end. I am a Kindergarten teacher and I always put a giant knot in one end of the string for my students for this very reason!! 😊
as a parent i underatand your frustration with the necklaces. however from my kids eyes. the big side of the necklace is supposed to be used as a stopper. you slide all the beads on from the one side. its so little hands can hold one end and they dont all side off the other side. to other parents. the necklaces they use are stretchy, easy for kids to put on, and will snap quicker than a string in the matter of choking hazards. easy for little hands. and they fit almost all pony beads so if you kiddo likes making themselves necklaces like mine do. its easy to buy a cheap pack from your nearest store to help them customize it. to jackie. absolutely no hate. i appreciate your satiness when it comes to these products and i often find my self with the same conflusion you came to😂 just wanted to give a lil parental hands on from a mom who buys packs of the necklace string things for her kiddos
Ok ... here's the deal with the princess necklace kit. You would actually want to line up all your beads first in the order you want .... once you're happy with the line-up, you slide them all onto the smaller end. Bing-bang-boom
I will say, I agree that this might be common sense. But I think since she does stuff exactly as it comes (or like a kid who would normally get this kit) and there was no explanation or direction, I can let this slide. But yes. PLAN YOUR PIECE!! LMAO
This must be completely out of the blue and not relevant but I really wanna take a moment to appreciate Jackie. I've been a grain for a super long time and the way she has evolved her channel and content, how she's super unproblematic, dorkily adorable and one of the very few genuine youtubers out here who are who they are and care about their audience just..it's truly commendable. She's so transparent, she doesn't have to indulge in clickbait-y stuff or other mind numbing things many other creators do. I'm super proud to be a part of the Salt Shaker Fam. You go Jackie 💜
When stringing the beads you would string them through the smaller side of the necklace. Put on half, charm and then the other half. Just lay out your beads before hand to plan your design. Also I would think all the extra space in the middle of the container is probable storage for finished necklaces and such.
How do you know?? I can see that she does but I’m new to this and it said someone liked my comment but I can’t see who or anything I’m sorry to bother u btw but I just don’t know waaaaaa lol n congrats btw
No I got a notification saying someone liked it n then I don’t see anything or a name idk it doesn’t matter lol ty for replying tho like I can see that everyone else got hearts and stuff but nothing undermine I guess I got skipped again maybe idk
For the necklaces: Typically, you would lay out the string, match up the length with the beads and charm to determine their location, and then just put them all on in order from the one side. It's actually brilliant that you can't easily get beads over the other side. (Since if you drop one side, the beads will not fly off) As for the charms, I can easily see paying $2-$3 a charm making the princess charms around $10-$15 of the kit. So while I wouldn't pay $20 for it, I could see $10-$15. Love you Jackie!
Shes had a video not too long ago with Elmer's glue in the image/intro screenshot. Whatever it would be called... thought the video was going to have to do with slime. She didn't even use glue in the video. It really doesnt matter. I just thought it was odd...enough so that I still remember it. 🤣
Just an idea: you plan out your design of the necklace before you put it on the sting, like a pandora bracelet. You don't put one on each side you put them all on the same side 😅
For the necklaces I think you're supposed to use the "difficult" end as a stopper. So, you slide one half of the bead design on, add your princess, then finish the bead design on other side of said princess. Love you Jackie! ❤
I'm pretty sure nail polish with glitter in it has to be at least a little transparent so the glitter shows through the polish. That being said the easiest way to use glitter polishes is as a top coat.
“Got creative and applied it somewhere else”.... Jackie, my mind wasn’t in the gutter. I pictured it all over the walls or faces. Kids are more creative than adults in that regard.
Jackie, the rope is supposed to be like that, you start from one side to the other, if not the beads would get loose and one couldnt finish the product correctly cause it would constantly be falling appart, you start from the side, add the middle aprt, and complete the other side, its not to be done simetrically but lineal. ive learnt this by making several bracelets when i was younger
I have to say, the bag baffled me. I didn't think an instant that the designs were bleed-protected, especially considering how juicy the pens were. Really, really big and nice surprise!
I have to give them credit for the fabric colouring; the way they've treated the fabric stops it bleeding across colour lines, but encourages it to bleed evenly across the wide colour blocks. Surprisingly impressive.
I had that exact nail polish kit! I think it would be cool if you were able to mix it with resin for how pretty the colors are. Also: you could do a really cute beauty and the beast look with the yellow solid base and blue glitter top coat. Yes, the glitter ones are supposed to be toppers or if you wanna have your real nails show through a bit.
Jackie, a former teacher, might be though. You should stay in class. That’s how you become smart. Ditching it to watch product reviews is not smart. The video will be there when you’re done with class. Sorry for moming you but a mom has to mom.
As a beader/jewelry maker, I get what Jackie is saying about the necklace string, BUT when you make a necklace, the first thing you do is put the clasp on one end so don't lose your beads while stringing. You use a bead board to lay out your beads in the order you want them and that includes where the main focal item will go (in this case the princess pendant). Then you string until you get to the far end and you attach the the other half of the clasp (the ring the clasp clips into).
My favorite Disney movie is Finding Dory. It was the first Disney movie my granddaughter literally watched with me when she came home from the hospital back in 2016. And we still watch it many times together today.
Mulan (animated) is my favourite Disney movie. I agree with commenters saying that for the necklace kit they probably meant for you to only put beads on via the narrow end, but the kit should have included instructions on planning your necklace in that case so it would be symmetrical (if you wanted it to be).
Hi there user of fake nails for almost 10 years here, for fake nails if you look underneath there should be a little number( that's for sizing ) is the bottom of the fake nail and the thinner part if for the cuticle end its so there is a smoother transition from real nail plate to fake nail .So in this video you are indeed putting it on the correct way. So good job :3
That's kinda right. The pan colors are magenta and cyan. Which are the primaries for print. But if you can't get the true colors you can just use paint primaries. Either way they make all the other colors which is perfect for the orientation that represents liking all genders.

She just seems to be from a different world what is probably called heaven. I haven't seen much (good) youtubers who have gone through as much as she had. I'm soo grateful that someone is out there to give me joy even though they might not be feeling the same way
Hey Jackie you could totally make a pop socket out of those charms!! They would look very cute... And maybe you could customize it and make it a little evil😈😈😈
Jackie for the Disney princesses. The beads they give you, well the ones that are not flowers are pony beads. You can get them at the dollar store. And for Mulan they could have given cherry blossom flowers, bamboo, or lotus. The dragon would be cute too!
my all-time favorite is beauty and the beast. runners up are the princess and the frog, the black cauldron, the hunchback of notre dame, and the aristocats
That nailpolish kit's pretty much still the exact same formula Disney's used since their "Tinkerbell Cosmetics" line for kids in the 80s & 90s, but with way more colors now 🤩
You can paint anything with nail polish and make it way cooler. I have a black polish with holographic sparkles and used it to paint my glasses. People never stop complimenting them. I also paint magnets, pop sockets, etc.
Tip for Jewelry making with beads and characters: Do ONE side of the pattern you want, put the character in the middle and then mimic the other half of the pattern. That way, you not be struggling with that thick piece at one end. I used to make bracelets/necklaces using beads and even just making string.
I do glue/stick on nails fairly often. I recommend getting a Styrofoam block, then buying some popsicle sticks and sticky tac. Put the sticky tac on one end of the popsicle stick and poking the other end in the Styrofoam block. Then you have an entire set up to do fake nails without putting them on your fingers. Way less messy, and great for quick swatches. :D Edited to clarify: you can stick the nail on the sticky tac end so it holds it for easier painting and getting in at better angles when doing details and art.

Yep and to make it symmetrical just add the beads you want first then the princess and then the same beads after the princess.
This!!
Yes, they are made so you start from one end to another. if people want symmetry they can lay a design up first.
Yes was coming to say this!

Thank you! It was driving me crazy that no one noticed that the beads could have been inserted from one side to the other
Just came here to say this. Watched the video earlier and it was REALLY bugging me! 😂 I was like, "Jackie, where's your logic gone?!"
Agree, an adult could easily do that. And a child would benefit that the bead can't fall off.
Yeah, the fact that one side is bigger to prevent the beads falling off is nice. She just lacked the common sense to see it.
