    Perfect timing. Not sure why but in the last month, I went from 2.9 degrees from the inside to 7-8 degrees, missing fairways and greens. This compounds my issue of grounding behind the ball. thank you for this

    Nice to see someone in my 10% bracket of not-over-the-top swingers. Jack seems to control it better than me though, I asily hook it, he seems to just be hitting low draws. Lots of people would be jealous (just that his approaches won't hold most greens I reckon). It's totally true though, the drill I need to repeat every now and then to correct the dreaded hook, make me feel like I come massively over the top (only to see the ball go straight-ish, LOL)

His delivery style, using a phased approach, (no matter the skill level) teaches golfers not only proper mechanics, but the discipline and usefulness of patience and practice. Hi Chris I have been watching a video with Pete Cowen and he suggests keeping the right hand bent backwards through the ball and beyond using the right shoulder and hand pressure to create distance. The body turning throughout keeps the clubface square. This dosn’t seem to suggest a flexable wrist that you use. I would assume the club speed would benefit from relaxed wrists as you suggest. Do you use pressure on the back of the club with the right hand still bent back or do you use the whip of the club to create distance. confusing!!

    • @ChrisRyanGolf
      @ChrisRyanGolf  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hey Rob, in this video I needed Jack to create more right wrist bend in transition as he has very little coming into impact. So I was trying to work more towards a delivery position where his trail wrist was more bent back which would then allow him to do exactly what Pete says, he was unable to do that at the start as he had very little stored up

    One issue he has is seen at the very top/ stop of the back swing...he stops it very abruptly using his wrists to brake the momentum in preventing more carry behind him...because of that brake effect( abrupt stop) he feels the need to get the club going in the opposite direction using wrist muscles for the opposite direction...thus the cast seen...he needs to learn to let the club come around backside more freely at the top( relax more and have a bigger back swing)...i e. Daly...( Of course not that far)..but the same principle... That way the wrist won't start the downward action... Thus avoiding the dreaded cast
