Does bowing the lead wrist give the same sensation as backward bend on trail wrist...? (as I can feel lead wrist bowed but not as much with trail wrist....)
@@adaviesgolf Thanks Alistair ...thats as I saw it ...(but was told by an instructor that bowing was wrong ....but to my way of thinking one forces the other to happen)
Great video but it would be very helpful to see your hand position post impact. Perhaps a slo motion film speed to include a stop action at the moment after impact but prior to wrist break. Great explanation- kudos to you!
Great video. This has always been my main problem. I’ve got a lot to work on. 1 question are you still trying to keep these thoughts when hitting a driver. This is the worst club in my bag and it used to be my best. Can’t get off the pull hooks.
Thanks Alister it won’t be long till you get to50,000 I like your golf clubs and black shafts what brand are both. Thanks for these lessons they help a lot.
Alistair, for that 7-iron, what would be the dynamic loft preferred? For me, a shaft lean toward the outside of my leading leg is about 10 degrees. The inner third of the leg is about 5 degrees. The zipper is about zero. What is preferred for a mid iron in terms of shaft lean at impact? Thanks,
Low 20’s dynamic loft with high 80’s chs. Your average shaft lean is 11 so for me 5 plus should be the aim for all golfers and around 10 for serous players
@@adaviesgolfremember, all these drills are MASSIVE exaggerations. 5 deg shaft lean is less than one minute on a clock face … 12deg ( Tour Pro)?is two mins .
I haven't tried yet, but I'm thinking of starting a small note book, that way I can write the little cuts from the good things I figure out during lessons and on the range. My brain is all over the place, so I'm thinking having little reminders could be good. I've also considered writing little words on certain clubs so I see them looking down. I reckon these are just ADHD hints.
Thanks for watching I Couldn't COMPRESS The Golf Ball Until I Did These Exercises - 20 Mins Later!!!!

@@ronmullard5718 yes same feeling with both just some golfers prefer one or the other

All excellent drills Alistair on how to get more compression into the golf ball!
Thanks John
Great effort Al!!
Thank you for the effort!!
Thanks
Thanks, Alistair, for great drills, performed in what appears to be frigid temps! I appreciate your dedication.
Thanks, good luck
You really are getting great compression - good instruction
Thanks

Thanks but my swing isn’t perfect, so I would rather add in the best movers as slow mo examples. But will try to include more of them in future
The drag drill is great
Thanks
Please keep up the great work 👍
Thanks and I will try
Great video. Your ball contact sounds really solid.
Thanks 🙏
You have a very solid swing, great drills, looked like it was chilly.. Your breath
Thanks, it was a bit cold
Well done Alistair al give that a go 😊
Thanks Roy, good luck

What a sound… my mate and I always compare during the round how contact is sounding… sadly often we have a bunch of CFS… compression free strikes !!
Thanks, keep at the drills and I am sure that will change
Hi is this divot as well ? Ball and follow with grass contacts ? Does it works ?
Ideally some divot after the ball to get the correct radius but still will improve compression without divot
@adaviesgolf thanks. Got it. One more question. Can i put a tee or stick like inches in front of the ball? Precisely how many ?
@@oceanyt8 4 inches is good, but use a tee at that distance

How did you not immediately run out to play after those shots!!! Looking solid!
Couldn’t unfortunately. Was happy with my contact for sure after the drills

I am relating to the tee on the face of the club.Trouble is, I have so much information in my head that when I start playing, I forget everything.
Just do I practice swing that helps tell your brain what you want to influence then hit with one or two simple thoughts during the swing
