  • This camping valley has so much to offer. Lots of different walks, multiple places for camping. Peaceful and plenty of space.
    There is a really good information center, with loads of info. It's also the gateway to the Pinnacles hike, which is a very popular overnight hike.
    We loved this spot def keen to go back, especially to see the Giant Kauri tree, which pictures just do not do it justice.
    We are off to the USA in 2 months, let the big adventures begin.
    If you like the music we use Epidemic sound use this link if you make videos for a free month, and we get a free month also, this means you don't get copy right strikes. www.epidemicsound.com/referra...

    I absolutely love it up there. Spent a lot of time over the years exploring the area and love how it never changes! Great run jumping off the rock at Hoffmanns pool. That camp you stayed at was choccas over the Christmas period!

      I imagine it's packed at Christmas... nice having places that feel so remote, but only 20 min to town...Soph is desperate to get to broken hills

    The Kauaeranga Valley has been our camping go to for years. This video felt very familiar as you visited places we have with our family. Those stairs up to the Cookson Kauri... whoo.. just when you think there couldn't possibly be anymore you turn a corner and ding!... they just carry on!... and on...

      I think they have recently been rebuilt ,but yep... that sure was a lot of stairs. Great dpot for 👪 families up that valley

    We love camping by a river with good swimming, Nelson Creek is one of those places and with our 2 new Boxer Puppies we are hoping to go there over the next school holidays

    Hi nice caravan what was the cost for your van

    • @leopardsgowild
      @leopardsgowild  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Pretty expensive it was 112k but I believe those prices have gone up now... we plan to live in it when we get back from US summer camps so wanted something that was gonna give us as little stress as possible
