    I actually don't hate this format! It was very relaxing having you do this.
    Also, I thank you for responding so quickly about the thermal cameras I mentioned purchasing a while back. Unfortunately the funds were declined by my boss. Just gotta make it worth his while somehow.

    Mr. Alex, we all know exactly what you would be saying as you do a repair like this so this was like one of those, "Satisfying" type videos that you see on other channels with music playing while things get done.
    Great Show!!

    when it comes to the plastic on those connectors is there a specific amount of heat I should be using on my hotair? I am afraid of melting plastic or is it a type of plastic thats more forgiving when it comes to heat?

    These type of scenarios always warm my heart, defiantly feels like added value to the phone. (Along with keeping that phone out of a trash heap for today...)
    This is something I want to do for a living, and already do at least PC/MAC repair (OS, Software, Hardware diagnostics with basic soldering skills) as a hobby off and on for the last 14 years.
    As of writing this, I am procrastinating getting ready for my job as lead price auditor for a grocery store. I don't want to go in anymore.

      I think something about 350-360 degrees otherwise the plastic of the FPC is deforming

    • @urz7481
      @urz7481 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      IMO better practice on damaged fpc and increase temperature gradually until you see it deforming.
      because each hotgun have different result even have same temperature except it calibrated well
