Everyone, If you want CMD then choose "Windows Powershell (Admin)" it has the same features of CMD but it has been replaced on right click start menu. Also the administrator is disabled by default. If you want to enable is run the "Windows Powershell (Admin)" and type: "net user administrator /active:yes" to disable it type: "net user administrator /active:no" If you want to disable or enable a different user, then just change the user "administrator" from "net user administrator /active:yes" If you can't get it working, and you probably don't have access for it. That means your user is a limited access user.

Hi I need help about one my laptop which was failed in middle of reset pc process and opened as administration . I'm enable to reach command prompt
and when I ask command prompt who am I , says win-lt6qovq3t80\administrator
task menu is locked and services looks almost all stopped and on task manager process is blank
when i open a file says explorer.exe error "an attempt was made to reference a token that does not exist"
Im able to reach Command Prompt & regedit
by task manager

Hi, you seem pretty knowledgeable. So, I'm trying to rename a file in the Systems folder which will not let me 'delete' it, but if I can rename it, it will be rendered useless. What i saw them do 1st is i think they power it with safe mode and a new admin user just popped out then they fix it there in the user it has process..

Storm Smash it is our fault of your own mistake that you caused. But if you go to google, and look for systems like NT password recovery tool or tools like it, you can re-create an administrator account again. Also for another possibly fix, try using system restore.

Just as a quick question.. what is the current operating system that the computer is? Windows 7, 8 or Windows 10? That can give me details of solutions. I know that I can fix this issue very simple. You just need windows installation disk by bypassing windows logons with utilman.exe, This gives you cmd.exe as system user that can recreate a administrator account. goo.gl/QJaz2x
