When Uche chastised her for not being honest (with someone else!) only to turn around and reveal he’d been lying the whole time, I was floored at the audacity. She’s a beautiful soul and I’m glad she dodged that bullet.

    Anyone can be manipulated.
    Confident people can be manipulated.
Confident people can become insecure due to a relationship.
Manipulative people see vulnerabilities in others and use that to their advantage.
Manipulative partners always position themselves as correct. They are never wrong. When they're wrong, they're still right.
Manipulative partners slowly escalate their behaviors until the person is dependent on them.
It is not Aaliyah's fault for being manipulated. It is always the fault of the manipulator for seeing someone's kindness and forgiving nature and using it against them.
Manipulation can be intentional or unintentional but it remains harmful.
    I hope Aaliyah can heal❤

For anyone that has dealt with a narcissist you would have seen a lot of these things coming. It’s a typical narcissistic trait to ask you to be honest then tear you down and condemn you for anything that doesn’t look like his beautiful view of his subject at the time. Also they tend to have the same or worst skeletons in their closet but they work hard to keep them private. Hence why he needed to discredit Lydia. The reason why he flipped out is because Aaliyah leaving took away the control. Sis you dodged a bullet. He’s the reason why Lydia is so unhinged all thar narcissistic abuse. Cameron and Lauren are the lucky charm of the show. The creator and main producer - Chris something - said that when they were taping Cameron and Lauren interact and then the reveal, they went - oh sxxxx, the formula of the show really works, we won the lottery with these two... Until their reveal, they had no clue the premise of the show could work, regardless of the quality of the casting staff in finding possible matches going through social media profiles and activities. It turned out Cameron and Lauren accepted the invitation to be on the show and the formula worked. But there is a big BUT here, the quality of Cameron and Lauren as people is different from many of the other participants on the show - both are highly educated, have amazing families, are compatible from a social, economic, and educational background, and were ready for a serious relationship. Many participants of the current season 5, for example, Izzy. Jonie, Lydia, Milton, Uche, Stacy , pretty much most of the cast of this season are far away from this status, like thousands of miles away...
