The grommet, or Garman as you referred to it, it’s very easy to find. There’s no need to run wires to the fenders and the doors.

since the wires on down the rain channel on the window the butt connectors are good but defiantly use the water tight ones and then heat shrink over top of them so water wont get into the connection other then that nice video man

My friend the center console that your truck is from, what year is it, I have a RAM 1500 4.7 2012 and I want to adapt a center console to it but I don't know what year it was compatible with this model

Were the Self Tapping Screws Enough? Any worry about leaks?
To this day it’s been super sturdy ! No leaks what so ever

@@VIPDCUSTOMS how did u put the weather stripping back over the screws to make it flush with the body? Looked like it was resting ontop of the screws not flush
@stevencranston107 on the ram I went back and cut a little into the weather strip to make it flush
On my current rig I I put silicone since is didn’t have any covers

Next time put the screws in the middle so you have room for adjustment then after, put your other screws in

Nice video, one thing I will change in this installation is the way power is connected. It would be better to connect the positive wire to the ignition switch wire that provide power when ignition is turn to the on position. If you leave the light on and forget to turn if off, it will kill your battery.
That’s one way to do it but having it on a switch does not kill the battery

What's the wiring kit you got though? I just bought the bar but didn't know I'd need the wiring as well, what are the specifications for that?
Nevermind I think I've got it. Wait so you got this entire thing done in an hour? Or 10:50am-12:10am? So like 13 hours? I'm not a mechanic so wish me luck XD and the brackets I got aren't even for my vehicle, which is a car. We'll see how it goes, the wiring should be no problem, it's the mounting I'm worried about
Took me 1 hour or so , first time wiring yeah the mounting take shot longest
@@VIPDCUSTOMS Ah okay that makes me feel better lol if you can do it in an hour maybe I can do it in a few hours, but having the proper materials to mount it will be the hardest part I'm sure. I'm gonna try to use a 2004-2011 Ford F150 mounting bracket on my 2008 Ford Focus, so we'll see
Appreciate the feedback though, gives me some confidence that I can figure it out, idc how long it takes, as long as it gets done. I'm pretty good at wiring and my father is like an actual electrician so that'll be a breeze luckily
@@VIPDCUSTOMS Took my dad and I like 5 hours.. The mounting options I planned didn't work, had to mount it to the hood and there wasn't anywhere to run the wires into the cab so I had to drill a hole in the steel which was a pain in the ass. Got it though
