I'm namibian and my interest in history and the history of namibia during South Arica's really showed me that namibian schools don't mention that sadf soldiers were really chill with the ovambos. The history we have tells that on the daily namibians were treated like animals which isn't true. Yes it wasn't sunflowers and daisies but most soldiers hung out with the locals and namibia was just another province of SA i wish they just highlighted that(P.S great song)

@@davidd5636 same happened on PLAN side there were a number of white people that joined PLAN too, first and foremost even though SWAPO gain support from the eastern block, our movement was not necessarily communist it was more nationalistic, since the United States was supporting a white fascist government we had no choice but to associate ourselves with the nonaligned movement and eastern block. If it wasn't for them I wouldn't be living in a formerly white only neighborhood and have access to good education in Klien WHK so, of course, the majority of Namibians would prefer the so-called "Commies" over any fascist racist white supremacist regime. The Black people that fort with the white supremacists, either didn't have any economic opportunities, were forced to join the territorial forces or they were blatant coons, everyone had a choice to leave the country and luckily the majority of those people who chose to leave the nation are on the right side of history, this also includes white people that also had the same viewpoint as us that joined us in the liberation struggle. PLAN treated POWs very well in comparison to how SWATF treated it's POW's Danger Ashipala treatment of Van der Mescht is a documented example that SWATF cannot ever produce. In short Neo Nazism will never be tolerated in an independent Namibia

It was a mistaken translation. There some where he/she got it to the point but likewise, mistakes also have come out.
