UPDATE: Turns out the Ultra setting on CODM only applies for multiplayer! Sorry for that and I’ll adjust accordingly in future tests 🙏🏻

10:44 Wait that's actually crazy I expect it will go much more stable because my Poco F3 didn't drop the fps like that. I'm using highest graphics settings too except for the motion blur
But to be fair I tweak my Poco F3 a bit what I mean is
    -debloated it
-turned on the performance mode using setedit ( it was hidden on dev option but it will show up when turned on using set edit )
-undervolted the gpu and overclock it to 683mhz ( 670mhz stock )
    -flashed a newer adreno driver
-external cooler because it's hot in my country
-stock rom and kernel just rooted to unlock 120fps of codm, flash the adreno driver and undervolt the gpu.
But I'm still surprised how Poco F5 pro perform, I thought it will be significantly better on my Poco F3 atleast on Genshin but it's not

That's the weird detail about HSR: It is not, but somehow manages to bring temperatures higher than Genshin. In short: I have a Poco F4, I play both games. Genshin doesn't run at 60FPS most of the time but rather 45-56FPS. Star Rail does run at 60FPS all the time in my phone and rarely seem to dip, but it makes the phone run way hotter at 60fps. I ended up limiting it to 60FPS to keep that in check.

I think it discharges quickly, unfortunately... If this keeps discharging on this rate, probably should laste about 4:30 of gameplay... I like playing emulators like aethersx2 or skyline for example, so it probably would discharge more quickly yet😢
Bro, my x3 pro lastes about 4:30/5:00 on heavy games, so I didn't like the battery performance of this Poco f5 pro...
Do you know in general if 8 gen 2 devices battery lasts more time? Maybe be better for me, i heard 8 gen 2 has more energetic efficiency than 8 gen 1, so battery duration is better, right? I'm curious about that...

I'm still using my Poco F3 that I bought 18 months ago and am really happy with it, it's a brilliant phone and never gets hot. I looked at the F5 but it's 4 times more expensive and that's too much, it's now competing with high end phones like Samsung S23 and iPhone 15. All phones have a shelf life of 2 to 3 years before the battery wears our so it doesn't make sense to spend loads of money on something that's going to need replacing in such a short period of time.

    • @SennLens
      @SennLens ปีที่แล้ว

People have use average 1 to 2 years (maybe up to 3 years) before most people tend to buy a new phone again because some phone brands have like at least 2 years OS updates and 3 years security updates which is pretty standard.
If Samsung (which is much more expensive than Poco) which gives 4 years of OS updates and 5 years security updates begins Galaxy A34 5G until most premium flagship devices like Galaxy S23 Ultra.
I did have Galaxy S22 Ultra on my hand which keeps overheat when running really heavy games like Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail. If do basic task like watching TH-cam, use social media and most basic task less overheating.

Same I'm still using my f3, its almost 2 yrs now and I still don't have problems. It has small framedrops on heavy games but its not really a big deal. My f3 heats up since day one, maybe the place where I live is also a factor but you can still feel it in a room with ac.
