"I lost my best friend",
Aziraphale: sorry to hear that
in Crowley's mant: sorry ?!, you'll just say that, all this drunkenness is because of you damn fault, you're lucky that I love you,
mental note, when everything ends this problem I will punish him with ...
In Aziraphale's mind: His best friend??? But I'm... fine?? So he has a best friend that isn't me?? And I've never even met them?? Or heard about them??? dOeS hE eVeN LiKe mE?¿¿?? sHoULd i jUsT---
@@LemonsOnTheFloor that's exactly how I see it as. Azeraphel didn't see Crowley's reaction in the bookshop so he doesnt know that he thought he had died
Crowley saying “Souvenir” is so special to me
Vulnerable Crowley is the cutest, honestly.
When I first saw this scene, since Principality are mid-ranking angels, I thought that by, "Your whole platoon is waiting," the angel meant that Aziraphale was supposed to *lead* the platoon. Which makes me think that for the rest of the Apocalypse, there was a platoon of angels waiting for their boss to show up and lead them into battle, but their boss got 'sidetracked' saving his best friend and the world.
"AGNES NUTTER! YES I TOOK IT!" The way he holds the book out towards Azirapha;e even though he's not corporeal always gets me.
Man, I always get so touched by how sorry Crowley seems to be for Azi’s shop, like, he knows how much it meant to him and wants to break it to him in the best possible way.
I love the look on Crowley's face at the 3:10 ; it's the look on every nearsighted person's face when we can't see something clearly.
There are 3 kinds of comments under this video
1. They're so in love, I'm crying so badly🥰😭
2. You wrote Husband wrong in the title and
3. iS ThAT ANdERSoN?! (The answer is yes, yes it is and yes he is lowering the iq of the entire heaven)
Sherlock: Anderson, don't speak out loud, you're lowering the IQ of all of Heaven
3 years later this feels so much more sad 😢
Indeed
The first question is, could everyone else in the bar see Aziraphale? The next question is, is it weirder if they can or can't? Either A rather drunk man who's just been ranting about being a demon is having a conversation with a ghost who just appeared (rather alarming) or that drunk gentleman is having a full conversation with himself and shouting at the air which is actually probably more normal and less insane really😂
Crowley: *soft sad boi voice* "Aziraphale..."
Aziraphale: "Come on husband Buck up!"
David says "I lost my best friend" in such a way that for a while I was convinced he said "I loved my best friend"
And the music! Ohh it breaks my heart at first but it gets hopeful and happy as soon as Aziraphale shows up
His acting at this moment is incredible, that little sad and relieved smile is everything
Crowley in this scene is everything
Frrr
I wanted Crowly to say "I lost my angel" instead ;)
2:20 "OOoooOoooooOoOooOOOoo"
- Aziraphale
Lol, get a wiggle on! Also... he was seriously contemplating possessing Crowley's body! You know Crowley would have been just FINE with that! If not for the explode-y-ness bit
I simply cannot process with my mortal mind, just how celestially *CUTE* these two are!
I agree ❤
David tennant can turn it on like a switch and it’s amazing
No one can play pain and heartbreak like David does
Hi!!! I've had a thought for a while but I don't know any fans so I figured I'd post it here. So, I've been thinking that since Crowley couldn't call Aziraphale his lover after he told him he goes too fast for him (BIGGEST 🥺 EVER) the next big name that can describe his feelings for Aziraphale is best friend 🥺❣️ Plus the fact that they used You're My Best Friend in this scene but skipped the bit that goes "I want you to know that my feelings are true, I really love you, you're my best friend" AND the next time they see each other he calls Aziraphale his best friend 🥺
This probably isn't new but I still needed to share my thoughts on this very special scene 🥺
Yes the Authors wrote that they had feelings for each other but had to sneaky about it since at the time the book was written people were not very receptive to same sex partners. I thought they were just friends but after reading the book and looking it up I can see it.
I DIDN'T THINK OF THAT I LOVE YOU SO MUCH
Add to that that the song You're My Best Friend is about a happily married couple.
I love you all, thank u for letting me share my thoughts, wish I had more friends with whom I could discuss this show cuz reading the book and re-watching the show has been a wild ride!!!
One of my favorite episode) "I've never ask to be a demon..."
*One of my favorite episode*
Go, tell it. Break my heart, i didn't had emotions after all. I've been upgraded by a cyberman
I love how they talk about Aziraphale not having a body so casually.
I LOVE this moment, crowley loves him so much
- ”I've been discorporated”
- "Ohhh."
Like he's thinking "So annoying when that happens" 😂
The little stutter and "..yeah" crowley says around 3:50 😭😭😭
E u u m e u u m yeah
3:49 I'm just leaving it there...
Mmm-Mmm yeah
“I lost my best friend”
I’m not crying. I’m not crying. I’m not crying. I’m not crying. I’m not crying. I’m not crying.
I don’t know what you’re seeing. I’m fine. There’s no tears. Nope. Nothing.
"I won't be fighting in any war."
"Don't be a coward."
The irony being that this is Aziraphale finally standing up to the plan he's so afraid of.
"I've been discorporated"
"Ohhh"
Imagine being late to Armageddon...
And then they basically possess each other's bodies at the end, which... sounds a lot more suggestive than it turned out to be.
Switch between but not really possess one
@@wormbag80 no.... No i think I mean what i said.
Prime definitely ships it
i read the title as, "I love my bestfriend". oof
That's not wrong either.
honestly I thought crowley said that the first time I had watched it. I had to rewatch the scene
I use "get a wiggle on" and "buck up" as often as possible! 😂
3:25 Excuse me my handsome demon, who gave you the right to break my heart?! I want to hug you now!
3:15 PAUSE! Ladies and Gentlemen fins someone who will look at you like Crowley does!
Crowley is basically the tenth doctor
Idk if it's just me, but every time when I hear Crowley say "I lost my best friend" - I hear, "I love my best friend" hgufgcyigvuhgjh And I... aaahhhhhh (just go to 3:25 and listen hahah)
I know he says: “I lost my best friend” but it sounds like he said: “I love my best friend” and honestly, he should’ve said that.
AHG their conversation in the pub where crowley is recuperating from the emotional wreck that was thinking he lost his friend, the talking to said friend again.
I can't tell you how many times I have cried during this scene.
He memorized the book title... Meaning he cried over the book, re-reading the title over and over till he memorized it while crying. Probably. 🏳️🌈❤️😭😭😭
