- On this SPECIAL EDITION of The Movie Podcast, Daniel and Anthony are joined by DAVID TENNANT & MICHAEL SHEEN of Good Omens on Prime Video. With the Apocalypse thwarted, the duo are getting back to easy living amongst mortals in London’s Soho. That is, until the archangel Gabriel (Jon Hamm) turns up unexpectedly at the door of Aziraphale's bookshop with no memory of who he is or how he got there. While Crowley is leery as to why the archangel has come to the bookshop, Aziraphale is keen to solve the mystery behind Gabriel’s condition. However, hiding the archangel from both Heaven and Hell quickly disrupts their lives in unforeseen ways. Good Omens Season 2 returns exclusively on @PrimeVideo July 28, 2023.

we need views, rewatch counts aswell. For anyone unaware, Neil Gaiman has also confirmed that even if there's not a season 3 show, he'll still write the story in book format, so at least we have guaranteed that one day, we will know how it ends lol
He is way to foxy and clever to leave that ending as final. He planned season 3 all along i think.

I'm so happy for them, I didn't even know a 3rd season of Staged was in the works! The writing on the show was SO funny and got me through my first semester of college. much love to them for both the Good Omens crew as well as the Staged crew💛

@@snooperlooper Honestlyyyy, I still liked it. 😌I’m not totally surprised that Aziraphale reacted the way that he did and it gives us an entire new series (season 3) where they can explore their relationship a bit more.. once Aziraphale realizes that he’s not happy with his new job, of course.
For anyone who's wondering about the old movie they have been in, it's Stephen Fry's Bright Young Things from 2003! Michael played a friend of the protagonist and David played a love rival that sadly didn't have the same screentime
they simply adore each other's characters, i thought it was more playing their own roles that they enjoyed so much, but now im not so sure
The movie they were both in together that they never shared a screen was Bright Young Things believe and that movie is great and Michael Sheen did tweet he embodied his character from that film at some point.

Not by a long shot. Opening it up with cr-ow-lee and azure-fell cheapened the whole interview to me - feels like the interviewers didn't even watch the movie and just were following a script

I'm very convinced that a lot the plot of series 2 was inspired by David Tennant and Michal Sheen's real life friendship and, naturally, their exaggerated selves in 'Staged'. Clearly the writers saw this and realized they could work this into Crowley and Aziraphale.

at the very least such an ending, or non-ending, strongly implies there might be a third series. so if a third series does come to pass then I'd think it was worth it!......but if not, it'd be truly heart breaking.

Money is not necesary for good series. Great actors make that .. both are amazing……
Actor here - I appreciate your comment, but I just want to bring in a little addendum: *some* money is definitely needed, if you want a series or movie of high (or even average) production value - meaning: proper sets, good props, well-made costumes, well-corresponding make-up, etc. -and have it made by people who’ll actually be able to pay their bills and put food on the table ❤️
So I get where you’re coming from and I appreciate it, but yeah, a certain amount of money is def. needed ❤️

Shouldn't it be a minimum basic requirement for the interviewer to be able to pronounce the characters' name correctly? Azzerfel? Sounds like Furfur.

I cringed so much at how the interviewers pronounced the characters’ names. It made it difficult o listen to from second hand embarrassment. You don’t even have to watch the show to find out the pronunciations!!
I know, it seems lazy and disrespectful.
