Gotta love you throwing wild theories and some of them being spot on while others are literally opposite to what ends up happening hahaa, I've been having a lot of fun with this series.
Some solid guess, and I'm liking the lore that is starting to be solidified in your head section by section. Discovering all the lore for the first time vicariously through you as I have read the series so many times now.
Is the strange ardent you referring to the one that was drawing pictures of bridge 4 and rock shooed away ? That is actually Nazh, the one that wrote a description on of the images you read in the last video. Reminder that Nazh is also someone you met in a previous short book you already read
No, he was referring to an Ardent that intentionally insulted a visiting dignitary as part of a political maneuver on behalf the highprince he serves. It's a scene where there is discussion of the Tukari among other things.
For me I also interpreted the zahel interlude not as it was supposed to be read. There are some hints, that there is more to him (as you predicted already). But those hint to something else them him beeing a herald. There is one big clue at the end of the book. I think we can tell you what is going on, if you do not get what is up with him then.
I'm curious what you read that made you think the Heralds shattered the plains? It's an interesting theory, but certainly not explicitly stated by the point you've read.
@conorreads well there's one epigraph that says "Our gods were not who shattered these plains", but that doesn't mention the Heralds at all, and there are no Dalinar POVs in part 2, so that's not it. Again, it's not a bad theory based on what you do know, but it's definitely not confirmed.
@@alphaomegagiantyes that’s it, well done finding that so quickly. I think it was from Eshonais perspective and I assumed the emphasis was “our” gods, so I thought potentially they were shattered by what our side considered gods which I think are the heralds. Definitely a guess
IMPORTANT READING ORDER - There is a short novella edgedancer between this and the next book, it is contained in arcanum unbounded which also included mistborn secret history which should have been read after the third book in mistborn era 2 even if chronilogically it happened after era 1, I would also look into reading elantris before getting too far into stormlight as there is more and more crossover happening later in the series and you might be missing some stuff, brandon sanderson did a video about his proposed reading order here th-cam.com/video/0mC8dsQJK7w/w-d-xo.html

Man i forgot how bad the first interaction between kaladin and shallan was hahaha
Cringy from Shallan!

I don't want to spoil anything, but there is a moment in the story when Talenel expresses his feelings.
I really want to see you reaction to that.
It’s fun to see how excited you are about the story right now!
You are correct with multiple of your guesses. You are understanding more than I did reading this book
Just wait, I get a LOT wrong as well
Get ready to have ghostblood theories drive you insane🤣
Man, you are going to owe a Marsh level apology to one of the characters 😅
Always do by the end of a book 😂
@@conorreads You'll have to wait another book for that one, but I am really looking forward to your reaction to it.
LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

It definitely was mentioned, I do not remember where, potentially a head note or in one of Dalinars visions

It's a shame that you didn't get to hear the Kate Reading version of "No apologize. Boots!" from the audiobook.
Do you Read Warbreaker?
he did. but we should wait until the end of the book, after a certain item appears it is the point to tell him about a certain character
