Nice introduction to Ardbeg. The 10 has been a favorite of mine for many years. I need to try the Kelpie sometime, with your suggested bit of 10. Prices are fair for today’s market.

Loved this run through. Just picked up a Corryvreckan on sale ($65ish)down iat Menlo Park fine wine and spirits. They also had Glendronach 18 for $129.
Love the Corry even if the first sip you really feel the wrath, after that is sweet and balanced. I pair sometimes a good Nicaraguan cigar with it and the combination is great, the cigar has to be on the strong side otherwise the wise wash out all aftertaste. Corry and Uli are not easy to get in my area (north houston tx) it takes some research. Thanks for your videos.
Hey Erik, I am a bit confused regarding the bottle heights (+shapes)... They are all the same height despite the optical illusion they aren't, right? At least MY Ten, Oogie + Corry are. Or are some of yours 70 cl and others 75 cl? w/ different bottles being used?
Erik Wait this seems wrong. Both the Kelpie and Grooves are limited release offerings, not Core. Grooves is the only one listed on their website and it says “limited release” as well. Also, the Kelpie I’ve seen are priced similar to Grooves in the $100-$125 range USD.
@@ErikWaitWhiskyStudies yes, at Christmas time it was at Meijer (a 24 hour grocery &"we have everything" store). The new 2018 version was at a nicer liquor store. We had the 1st one about a year or more.

I saw a strange box and a bottle of Ardbeg 10 YO.The strange thing is that it's written (Single Islay Malt) instead of Islay Single Malt how written on every other Ardbeg bottle.Could you tell me is this whiskey a fake ?You may find this bottle if you will search Ardbeg 10 YO.Thanks everyone

Pretty sure it is just the wide angle lens
These are the NEW bottles that shrink as you drink the whisky. When the bottle is empty it be the size of a mini.
I'm confused, Kelpie and Grooves are not part of the core range...
When I visited the distillery in June 2018 these were all presented as core range whiskies.

I'm not the best source for learning pronunciation. Roy at Aqvavitae did two videos on how to pronounce Scotch whiskies.
Yes, and An Oa is "An Ooooo" the A is not pronounced.
