He took the PIG door after the house was razed though and put it on the front of his new recording studio, which used to be a funeral home, on Magazine Street in New Orleans. The studio closed a dozen years or so ago. I understand the door is still in New Orleans somewhere, owned by some murderabilia collector.

I agree. The book is absurd . He's allegations of Manson and the CIA and psyops LSD is so far out. I don't believe it one bit. Manson he claims worked with the CIA
How do you explain his breaking the law so man times and not getting arresed for it or not even being interrogated by the police, or the research going on with the doctor who operated the in the haight ashbury the clinic for the teenagers or hippies who was doing work with the cia possiblly.?
Can't take this guy seriously as investigating this case as he made too many mistakes in this interview. Trent Rezner never owned the home at 10050 Cielo Drive, he only rented it. Reznor also disrespected the memory of what occurred at the home. He named his studio at this home "Pig" which was a disgrace considering the Manson murderers wrote "Pig" on the door in Sharon Tate's blood. Reznor's album created at the home included a song named "Piggy." Reznor also took the famous door with him when he moved out (prior to the home demolition) and used it elsewhere. No respect at all to the victims. Reznor's an azzhole.
Confirmed what I thought about Altobelli. A sleeze and of questionable credibility. I hadn't realised he had sunk so low. Not in your book Tom. He sold Cielo for a couple of million in 88 89, so where did the money go? One more thing. I believe Altobelli knew Manson before the murders, met him at Denis Wilson's house in 68 when Manson and droogies were there, and it may have been Altobelli that Manson went to see when he visited the property in March 69, rather than the story given by Hatami in the trial, later retracted, as he was forced by Bugliosi to give testimony that Manson was looking for Melcher. Altobelli's links to Manson were covered up, as he had clout at that time. Is this confirmed? Another dodgy part of a crooked trial intended to protect the celebrities and the US agencies.
Altobelli sinking into addiction problems and grabbing a waiter’s butt in a restaurant doesn’t prove any of these other theories or that Altobelli was sitting on all kinds of secrets involving Manson and the trial. There’s no evidence he knew Manson, though of course it is possible considering they were both in LA and Manson had hung out with some Hollywood people. Altobelli is dead so there’s nothing left to learn from him. This is basically just gossip that will never be more than gossip.
@@EastSide-qc5oy disagree. Were we to get all the files and interviews from the case back then I suspect we'd learn a great deal, about Altobelli and a great deal more. Oh, but that's right, the authorities won't release them and block anyone trying to get them. Wonder why?
David HAILSTONE What is it in my comment specifically that you “disagree” with? That there is no evidence Altobelli knew Manson? As for “all the files and interviews from the case back then,” why exactly do you personally think you have a right to view documents and files related to a 50+ year old case? Do you understand the concept of state public records statutes? Exactly whose files, records, recordings, court filings, journals and diaries do you think you have a right to? Do you think your rights supersede the attorney client privileges and property rights of others?

If this author doesn’t realize that Reznor never bought the house, it underscores how much attention to detail he missed.
