Thanks John , yes all the time 🧱👍🏽👌🏼
Those two types of brick complement each other really well. Really smart.
I agree Jim , nice contrast 👌🏼🧱👍🏼
Great workmanship
Ta Richard 🙌🏽🧱👍🏽
Very good work
Cheers 🧱👍🏽
Super job. 👊👍Dave Birmingham
Cheers David 🧱👍🏽
Attention to detail. You guys have. I love the metal twigs holding the line. I have used a dollar Bill to twig a line many times. Lol. Lot of advancement in gear. A great thing. Nice job as always!
Thanks Richard 🧱👍🏽
Hi it's Richard fitzgerald from FitzBrick Clamps nice job.

Cheers Lee , have you seen the comment telling me if I took that long in Canada I would be fired 🥺🤣🤣🧱👍🏼
@@SteveAndAlexBuild
Lol not seen it mate well would be only place as your 1 of most tidy trowels on TH-cam. If subscribers was based on quality of workmanship you would be right up with millions of subs. 😎👍🏻
@@lmilne4859 . Thanks Lee , much appreciated. Growing our channel is really hard , we just can’t seem to get a good run of subs 🙄🧱👍🏽
@@SteveAndAlexBuild

@@lmilne4859 . We have a handful of loyal regulars like yourself , you lot make it all worthwhile 😁🧱👍🏽

Cracking stuff fellas, looks like we’ve both been doing soldiers😬😬🙌🏽
Cheers . Yep they either go nice and straight forward , or more often go to shit and strait falling of your lintel. 🤬🤯🤣👍🏼🧱

Thanks very much 😁🧱👍🏼
shame the centre key feature over the doorway wasn't replicated over the window opening

Cheers Mark , I’ll be honest I don’t know as they were sent to us . Just google them , they have a website 😁🧱👍🏽
Very nice.
😁🧱👍🏽
Looks nice with the different colour bricks
@@benfeeney401 😁🧱👍🏽
The distortion on the GoPro makes it look like your building a curved wall at times!
Sorry ! I mean a perfectly curved wall as its SA bricklaying 🙂👍
It’s does 😆.
Cheers Steve 🧱👍🏽
How does it work on site these days Steve is it a bulk sq m2 price all in or is it like the old days so much for damp so much for lintels ect ? Great to see your both still cracking on 👍👌🎥🧱👏🥇
It’s shite to be honest Ronnie .
The house is divided into 4 lifts plus the pikes so the price is split into 5 and everything is in the price . No extras whatsoever. ! 🥵🙄🧱👍🏽
Whats that red plastic floor thing in the background that looks like fish crates?
Trad deck pal 👍🏽🧱
Alex your dad was really talking to himself, don't let him kid you!
😏😁🧱👍🏽
Those clamps look quality
They really are Paul 👌🏼🧱👍🏽
Where can we get these from
@@matthewingham8579 Just Google Fitzbrick clamps.
What about the soldier clamps
@@matthewingham8579 Hi Mathew they are made by BT Engineering and they are called T clamps 🧱👍🏼
Been watching few of your videos, as I have a bought house with quite alot of work that needs doing. What's the mortar mix ratio your using in this?
Hi Peter hope you like the channel .
This mix is from dry silo on site , standard and most sites nowadays 🧱👍🏽
If you were to grind off one side of the rear of your T clamps they wouldn't pull out so much of the mortar on removal. Just a thought.
😁🧱👍🏽 good idea
What was that tool you used to secure the line at the top of the bricks?
It’s a Fitzbrick clamp from
@Brickworktools 🧱👍🏽
Nice job Steve you back on site now 🧱🧱🧱🧱
Thanks, yeah now and again 😆. Took 2 weeks to lift our scaff and there is now talk of the silo running out any day ... next delivery 17 th may 🤯🧱👍🏼
Yeah not great I’ve been on sites like that it does your head in. You can’t earn anything nightmare.
@@rowlockconstruction8345 . No the sites don’t give a toss about tradesmen nowadays , no loyalty 🙄🧱👍🏽
@@SteveAndAlexBuild Massive shortage of bagged sand and cement as found out today trying to get some ..I googled it and apparently it’s a shortage of packing materials.I wonder if it’s something to do with that massive container ship blocking the canal last month?

Where did you get the clamps 🗜??
Hi John they are BT Engineering T clamps , just google them 🧱👍🏼
Get a new tape!😂
.
all that for 8 bricks.. lmao
👍🏽🧱
@@martin2466 You can do it correctly without having to use all that. You would be fired if you took that long to do 8 soldiers anywhere in Canada.
Good job I don’t work in Canada then 🤣🤣🧱👍🏽
