- THIS WEEK WE RE MODEL A STONE FRONT PORCH FOR OUR VIEWER PAUL.
WE CUT OUT A NEW DOOR THEN BRICK UO 2 WINDOWS AND A DOOR.
THE WHOLE THING IS DOUBLR FACE ANSTONE IMITATION STONE . WE NEEDED TO DO A LOT OF TOOTHING WHICH WAS A DODDLE WITH OUR NEW BLUE BOSCH SABRE SAW PLUS ALL THE CAVITY CLOSERS NEEDED CUTTING OUT.
WE ALSO RAN OUT OF STONE AND WHEN PAUL GOT TO THE MERCHANTS THEY HAD RAN OUT TOO AND IT WASN'T BEING MANUFACTURED FOR ANOTHER 9 MONTHS ! .PAUL SOURCED AN ALTERNATIVE SO WE COULD GET FINISHED WHICH TURNED OUT REALLY WELL SO DISASTER AVERTED 👌🏽

As a former stone mason I find your work “top shelf “. Kudos to Alex on his first go at stone, he’s a natural!
Stone masons are really scarce, real ones, not the “glue it to the wall” fake stuff!!

Cheers Tony , that saw was a tip from Rodian and what a massive difference it has made to us . It will save us hours of time and so much less dust too . It has made toothing far less Of a chore . 🧱👍🏽

Spent a whole week with a hammer and bolster dressing these blocks on the face verticals for a big landscape job in my teens probably earning 75p an hour! Can’t believe I watched this I vowed after the time if I ever saw another it would be too soon!!😂 Great job lads 👍

Top job, and will look even better once the mortar dries. Just a thought - Would one of the rotary saw manufacturers let you have a battery one with hose water feed to advertise their product.

Done an amazing job Steve and Alex. When it weathers up you just will not be able to tell there was ever any windows in it. A lot of work grinding and cutting in. Not much of the original porch left. There must havd been times you wished that you had just took it down and started again.
I did think that before we started but it went quite well in the end 🧱👍🏽

The house number? How about that wide blue tape painters use for masking Or perhaps just hand a rag over the house number? It will save you time blurring out things in your videos.
