sabah mentioned once that she took her 10-15 years training from 1950s to 1960s to be able to have this long breath around 42 seconds long OUF as she did at the beginning of the song
I HATE the colonial term of “middle east” its called Arab world, why are we still using a term that churchill created to divide us intentionally :)… but yes, Sabah is def in my top five along with um kalthoum’ power, warda’s emotions and Fairouz’s smoothness… cabt believe they are all officially dead May god give them as much pleasure as they did to us in their lives :)
@@ahmedhafez3097In General we prefer to call it the Levant instead of Middle East and it is smaller and more precise. Does in Iran call this style also Jabali?
By the way, a friend and I are trying to translate a song for this singer, but it is a song of a completely different style. We may consider it not entirely Arabic, in which there is something of a western operatic style (choir) . The song is very great and important. We hope that when we finish translating it, you will watch it and see your reaction.
The problem with this concert is that there is no choir and the band is Egyptian and it is Lebanese and sings a Lebanese-Syrian singing style which is different from the Egyptian style, and this song has better recordings with the choir and the band is Lebanese or Syrian I was hoping for a better song

It was a joy watching several pieces of theatre live that time, you cannot feel unhappy in her presence
Sabah is the one and only legend in this world 😍❤️
Her voice and singing style we call it in the Middle East (jabali) that means the voice came from the mountain 😊cause it’s strong voice

The song was performed in Egypt accompanied by an Egyptian band
The problem with this concert is that there is no choir and the band is Egyptian and it is Lebanese and sings a Lebanese-Syrian singing style which is different from the Egyptian style, and this song has better recordings with the choir and the band is Lebanese or Syrian

This Lebanese style has nothing to do with Arabic.
