She explored all types of musical styles with her voice from Mozart to Classical Arabic, to traditional Lebanese to jazz. She even sang hymns and children’s songs. For those of us lucky enough to have listened to her music growing up, she’s enriched our lives. The song you just reviewed was the first song I memorized at three years of age.

Thank you for sharing this song with everyone.
It is a known fact that Arabs listen to Fairouz every morning (even the new generation - Fairouz is more than 86 years old now -),
and in the evening Arabs listen to Um Kulthoum (died on 1975).
since this video is about Fairouz, you should google her, and listen to her songs more often, her voice is 2nd to none, and the music of most of her songs are out of this world.
Keep up the good work, and thank you again.
    Greetings from Lebanon

@@freepagan Lebanon is an Arab country, has an Arab culture, uses Arabic as a main language, and contains almost all major religions, Lebanese people descend from Arab roots (except the Armenian minority).
It is important to know Arabs are not necessary to be Muslim. I am extremely proud to be Arabic and everyone can be proud of what he is.

@@mukalledr LOL. Yet we have ZERO percent Arab dna on average, proven by geneticists. So sit down. Our culture comes from our region. Only our language in MODERN times is Arabic. And it's just one of our languages. That's our only connection to the Arabic speaking world. So yeah, we're not Arabs. I'm proud of being LEBANESE, and it's not the same thing.

The second translation is the pronunciation of the lyrics in English letters. Fairuz is an icon and she's the queen of morning and the best thing you can listen to early in the beginning of your day. Coffee + Fairuz, that's the traditional Arab morning
