- Welcome back to Drifting South!
This week we are fishing inside the bay off Puerto Adolfo Lopez Mateo before starting our trek back to Playa Juncalito near Loreto on the east coast of Baja California. We are so excited to be here living off grid and boon-docking on the beach.
Counting down the days until I head back to Canada to visit my family before heading up to work.

Everything looks great for your new travels. Did you say you were flying home soon, Jenny?? A tad of spring has started here in the Fraser Valley, days getting up to 20C for a couple of days. Keep enjoying your travels and giving me a different look at our world. Thanks.
Thank you!! Yes I will be flying home at the end of the month and boating up to work April 8th. I can’t believe it! I’m happy to hear the temps are starting to climb! Winter always lasts too long when you’re living in the snow. I will keep soaking up the sun before heading to the rain forest for the summer. Take care and thanks for your comment!
Pretty soon the scenery will be Huge Evergreen Trees and Salmon. Pretty soon it will be Rivers Inlet, eh. Both locations are beautiful. Have fun
Right? Soon it’s going to be so different. I have never gone so long without trees surrounding me. It’s going to be nice getting back to the lush BC west coast. Though I love where I am now too. Thanks for the comment!
OH NO! Not the bacon, anything but the bacon.:) Guess its better than yogurt .Easier to clean up for sure.
