This is not from 'Beste Zangers' but it's a cover she made during the COVID isolation and placed on her own channel.
The thing about Floor is that her voice suits EVERY song, because she can change her voice to order to fit any style or genre. She’s incredibly versatile as you’ll find out.
She is not only versatile, she is a real Artist who grows an amotional Bond with her Art. I belive this is the way to put all you heart and soul in songs that you love and/or admire.

Guys I highly recommend watching the whole Wacken concert together. I'm married thirty four years and the concert was a great date. I introduced my wife to Nightwish and she fell in love with them.
'How's the Heart' acoustic version should be the next one esp. for Sarah. Another showcase of Floor's unmatched vocal talent. Good one for a date too :-)
Their studio is a room next to the hayloft. They have two large horses, hence the hay..

Beste Zangers 2019 was a great series, you could watch them all, a well constructed "story".
The intimate setting with the sofas for the other singers makes it magical.

Greetings from Finland! When Floor first covered this song with her former band "After Forever" even Ann Wilson was impressed. In fact her formed band-mate Joost van den Broek plays the grand piano in this.
P.S. This wasn't from Beste Zangers, but at Floor's home studio in Sweden where she now lives with her partner Hannes van Dahl (the drummer of Sabaton) & their daughter Freja.
Floor is actually covering her own cover of this song. When she was in her original band, "After Forever", they recorded a piano-accompanied version almost identical to this one.
This is during the covid isolation. This was from the studio of Floor and her man Hannes. Hannes is the drummer of Sabaton

Floor's video would make good teaching materials for these teenagers. Floor did a couple of vocal masterclasses. And by showing her performances, they can see she really uses every vocal technique flawlessly and that it doesn't look weird.

This was not Beste Zangers, this is Floor at home, in her home studio. She did more covers as she was homebound during Covid, as we all are. The pianoplayer is Joost van den Broek. He was the keyboardist of Floor's first band After Forever. He prerecorded the piano at his home in the Netherlands. Floor was filmed by her husband, Sabatondrummer Hannes van Dahl. So you can really say, this is a Covidproduction. She has done more covers at her home studio, including one in het native language, Dutch. Is dit nou later, will be a challenge for Sarah, as she will probably not understand a word of what the lyrics are. (I also just watched your great reaction on Ghost Love Score). As a kid, I grew up in the Netherlands with music in English. I listened to music with voice and lyrics as an aditional instrument and that is a great way to enjoy and feel music.
There are songs however in which the lyrics and background are important. The Poet and the Pendulum by Nightwish is such a song. Yes, you can enjoy the music and feel the emotions of the song, not knowing what it is about, but knowing the background of the song and reading the lyrics, adds so much more to that particular song. So, when you are going react to that song, take the advise of Sarah and read about the background of the song and read the lyrics (Wembley version).

Trust me, I love having her share the experience as well, but she is a busy lady with her job as well as being a great mom to our 4 children.
Hi you missed the nod Floor gave at the end. Floor has also done Alone with her band After Forever. FYI this a cover of a cover. The band that made this song famous is the band Heart and it consists of two sisters and about 4 other people. They have been around since 1970.
It's never too late for tattoos. If you look on the Wacken 2013 concert, Floor had no tattoos - she started in 2014.
By the way - the piano player is Joost van den Broek - Floor's close friend and earlier band member of After Forever and ReVamp - and now on her upcoming solo album..

This song has Floor done since she was young, in After Forever - and you are partly right - she also did it in the 9 extra shows she have done, (out if 10) - as a follow-up on Beste Zangers.
These intimate covers she is doing in her home studio, is something she is doing to her fans - and to keep her voice in shape of course. She has a special interaction with her fans - completely down to earth and teasing goes both ways.
She is absolutely no diva or superstar - she is a mother, wife, lover of the nature - especially horses, but nature and animals in general. They live on a farm, directly to the woods and near a lake, and Floor has sent tons of video from her touring / riding in the forest and by the lake. It is here she get her batteries recharged. Completely honest and down to earth.

This is not from Beste Zangers, this is from Floors home in Sweden. Keyboards provided and arrangement by Joost van der Broek, who was her bandmate in After Forever from 2004 to 2009, they are really close friends, and have done alot of stuff together including Ayreon Universe, Star One.

I'd love to see you guys to react to "Sancta Terra" by Epica featuring Floor...Live at the Retrospect show...I'm guessing others have suggested this as it's a great performance!! Epica is another symphonic metal band...Simone Simons is the lead singer and she is another GREAT singer like Floor..They are great friends in real life and you can just see that in the video....You will NOT be disappointed!! Keep up the great reactions!! Make sure you have your wife with this one!! She will be amazed!!

If you like the intimate/acoustic settings where there are no big sounds behind her voice, I recommend "O Mio Babbino Caro", an aria from an opera by Puccini (just her and piano), as well as "How's The Heart" acoustic, a Nightwish song she and Troy Donockley performed for Planet Rock (just them and guitar). If you go for How's The Heart, may I recommend a double feature reaction, where you listen to both the studio version as well as the acoustic version? It'll be worth it, I promise ;)

This is at Floor's house, they have a place out back where she and her hubby can practice and record, her hubby is the drummer for Sabaton his name is Hannes. This woman's voice and personality are it for me. Nice reaction! Explain to your wife, Floor is not human, can't expect a Goddess to be normal, need air to breathe and stuff, that is now 40, started fronting a metal band when she was 17, and travelling the world. She has perfected her instrument.
yeah her solo covers are from her and her husbands studio on their property, (it's built in their barn).
Even her cover of "Let It Go" is impressive.
BTW, Nightwish is not "her" band...she's just the vocalist.

So I wouldn't listen the song on that one. The BluRay version of this concert is effectively slowed down by 4% due to a conversion error. (25 vs 24 fps). So if you ever buy this, get the DVD.
About Floor's arms, quite aside from the tattoos: for the past several years, in her off time (most of 2020 was "off" as far as public concerts) she has largely been at her and husband's ranch in Sweden, handling horses AND the physical labor involved like building fences (one of her videos included that). She may work out, but she seriously WORKS on the ranch too.

Floor is a huge lover of Heart, she did this song a cupple of times during her career in different settings. First with her first band ‘After Forever’. Second in an intimate setting acoustic for Planet Rock radio with Nightwish (Troy, Marko and Kay only) and finally this one, totally on her own, Alone. All in different vibes, but every time again that familiar Floorgasm. Goosebumps all over my body.
Should check out Floor and Henk Poort singing Phantom of the Opera on Beste Zengers, and then check out Nightwish's version of same song with Tarja, their first vocalist. You'll fall even further in love with the band.

Lovely to see Sarah with you again. I'm enjoying the way you're mixing it all up, most reactors tend to start and go through Wacken one by one. I think you did mention at one point that you both cover the entire concert in one go ( which a number of people have done already) but personally speaking, I'd love to see you two do this.
