    Your video has been the most informative, down to earth video I have found. I am so thankful that I have found you. It all makes sense now, and I can finally make some pretty pictures.

    Really never thought about using the markers before, and have plenty of them. Gives you a wide selection of colors. I have not tried that gold yet . I just discover there r other alcohol inks besides Ranger. U must be in heaven with the new alloys. I know I am!!

    Ooo, that's a really good idea to use a palette knife for the gold. I always get too much put of the bottle. Would really love to hear some instructions next time, though. Great job!🤩🤩🤩

    I'm so glad I found your videos. I'm new at AI but what I like is how you use the markers, I have my Revlon dryer and my airbrush so now using the marker to draw my design will be easier than dropping ink drops down and getting off track from my design. I will be able to actually follow my design path. Thank you so much for the inspiration

    Beautiful art and great tutorial and very helpful. Did my first piece and it’s a lot harder than i thought it was gonna be the small coasters were easier lol. I mostly use watercolors but i love this look. I bought the piñata metallic gold but i feel its a lot more runny. And it really separates and has a thin blue color and the metallic. Do you have one that’s more concentrated? My biggest annoyance is how it spreads so easy vs clumping or just sticks to my paper when i put a drop down. Definitely going to get some markers and try your method

      CONCRETE. I know there is at least one other male that I know of but can’t remember his name. Search for alcohol ink and fire. He should come up. He spreads ink and then literally sets fire to it for a completely diff (and more male?) thing to do. Also Saskia Smit does acrylics and alcohol ink and often works on pieces with her husband.

I feel bad that I don’t talk on my videos, so I write it all out...probably more than I would say if I did talk! Lol. If you can’t find it just let me know. In answer to your immediate question, I use my airbrush at about 25 psi and...wait for it...my old cpap machine!

    This is beautiful. Are you using yupo paper? Asking because I dont notice any staining which I usually get with yupo. Also if you dont mind me asking is there a specific reason you add your gold using a scraper? Seems like you may get more control the way you apply it

    • @lisajordan7704
      @lisajordan7704  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      J Delaro Hi, Thanks! I have a lot of info in my main comment...I tend to write small novels since I don’t talk on my videos, lol. Anyway...I used Creatology plastic poster paper for this (Micheals aisle15 loose large sheets 28x22, that I cut into four. This wipes clean!! Yupo and photo paper will stain for sure. Some people are using a new plastic paper from Grafix with AI markers with success. Myriam’s Nature youtube channel has a video on it. I haven’t used it. I put metallic on with my cheapy palette knife because I can just lay it in instead of having a large drop that kind of sinks and then spreads everywhere. There’s a time and place for that too but when I’m going for more of a gold edge/line I use this. Thanks for asking!
