Prof. Davidson, you are the greatest! I really love your easy-going, professionally humorous style. You remind me of a professor I worked for in college, he would sometimes say, "what's 5 or 10 percent among friends?" Once in a while, if I'm having a tough day, I watch one of your videos and I am reminded to ask the question, "how important is it really?" Thank you.
Ill never be able to afford college or have the testing grades to be excepted but I'm learning something from this video. Thank you so much professor Davison.
well done. one thing learned was to not try and remove the filter paper with the xtals on it. like to weigh them all together , then subtract the weight of the paper. but rather to scrape out the xtals onto the watch glass. then weigh just the xtals.
this guy once dropped a quarter on floor on lab and said he could pick it up faster than Chuck Norris, then his back gave out. But he pissed off the safety guy too much by drawing fickle finger of fate on all safety memos so Roy couldn't get to him in time. What happened to those round nerdy safety glasses , awesome, looked like Clyde Crashup. A pin in frog's spleen ????? Hey John, remember when that Russian general visited our plant? White belt? Remember his name Gen. Kutzyernutzov ??
Lol. This guy has a great sense of humor for a chem prof...
John is delightful.. I'd definitely take a chem class with him.
You know you picked the right chemistry teacher when he has Homer posters in his lab.
He makes chemistry lab entertaining to watch. Before it used to be boring to me.
I'd say, he's funnier than most standup comedians
One of the best looking chemistry lab I've ever seen, hell yeah!
This is a great way of teaching. Not like my teacher who talks like a robot while everyone is zoning out.

Great professor. I would love to have someone this enthusiastic teaching me
great sense of humor. " this is a lot more fun than sticking a pen into a frog's spleen."
John is a great guy, and yes, a great sense of humor. I loved working with him on the O Chem video project.
Thank you Prof. Davison for giving a very clear instruction. Your video helps me a lot.

Just wondering what kind of pump is good for the vacuum filtration system.
Love the subtle bio hate
He is a cool prof.
What are those transparent conical things hanging above? Some kind of mini fume hoods or clean air supply?

if you're taking o-chem and you attach the funnel directly to the vacuum, you should NOT be taking o-chem
He makes me nervous!
Hello Professor : What type of vacuum pump is being used ?Do you prefer to use Whatman filter?
I love you
