If I wanted to filter chlorophyll out of a plant oil with ethanol extraction. How would I go about it with DE Earth and activated charcoal or carbon x. You mentioned sandwiching activated charcoal between two coffee filters. How would that work versus mixing the solution with activated charcoal briefly and then pouring through a cake of DE Earth?

How long does the solution stay sterile? I want to fill up sterile solutions in ampoules and seal them but doesnt get the solution contaminated if the solution stays in an open ampoule for about 2-3 minutes after sealing?

Would adding a layer of charcoal to the filter in the Buchner funnel be the best way to go about doing it? sterile? depends on the solvent. for ethanol, until it dries up.

I opine that the activated charcoal sandwiched between 2 filter paper and carry out the same vacuum suction. get it ?
