I have a leopard 4293 with a castle 8s in my Maxx and it’s a blast. Running 6s copperheads and 15mm offset hexes.
Why not use fans?

WE 'fly-boyz' add a smidgen of throttle subtrim/trim & usually, it'll just about eliminate all the 'cogging' from unsensored motors. Not much, 2 or 3 clicks. CAN go forward and reverse, depending on motors.
I thought 6s was gonna be a bit too much but how wrong was i! Awesome Joe! That quadruple back flip in slow mo was truly epic! 💪👍

I love my V2 and now I want to set it up like yours. That was incredible!!! I was wondering what spur and pinion are you running ? It's so strong with 6s it may do standing backflips with a lower gear ratio with lower temps. That was awesome!!!

I have a 6s Arrma Typon, thinking of Trugging it with Outkast parts and metal chassis. Running it at 4s now, maybe 6s after the build. Good to know where I can get the 6S batteries from Jack’s RC recycle. Do you think I will get similar performance as you did with the max?

Tons of power on 6s! Seems like the truck is hard to keep under control with all that extra juice.
Maybe stiffer rear shocks and/or heavier shock oil would help keep the front end down?
There is definitely a fine balance between power and control.
Joe i run 6s in mine i have the hobbywing Max 8 it seems to eliminate the cogging just letting you know thanks for your content.

I put the sledge system in my maxx as well, it overheats on 4s no clue why, just need to add some fans and see if it helps i guess.
Put 3.8 wheel on it to handle 6s
I wish i had a place to run something that big here but there just is not enough room yet

Great vid man Maxx is awesome on 6s . Love watching the laps brother. The jumps don’t all have to be perfect do they. I kinda like watching that jump it actually down sides on the back perfect when you have the perfect speed. Just call it a technical jump 😂👍🏼🔥💪🏻❗️
