For #TunebookTuesday we're dipping into a new tunebook: "I'm A Yankee Doodle Dandy": Urban French-American Fiddling from the 1930's - 1950's". It's a great book by Frank Ferrell from his extensive work with Acadian fiddlers in particular in Boston. Folks like Tommy Doucet and Gerry Robichaud in particular. I may have bitten off more than I could chew though, this is a wicked little tune from Tommy Doucet that was pretty hard to sight read! Check it out, it's an awesome tune nonetheless and worth the effort!
