However, the operation doesnt go as planned and they lose track of each other. Separated, they have to face their destiny
and their own convictions...
On January 31, 2006, the film was nominated in the Best Foreign Language Film category. Paradise Now won "Best Foreign Language Film" for the 63rd Golden Globe Awards, the first time a Palestinian film was nominated for such an award.
A Good Movie for Us westerners to see, to give us a better understanding of what is going on on Both sides, instead of only hearing about one side, not to mention so Americans can see what little resources and infrastructure Palestine has compared to Israel, this movie give us faces and relationships and identity to something that seems so far away from us.
I guess if you take a people Strip them of their human rights and dignity, then throw them in a concentration camp subject them to Extreme povertyand intimidation, the only course of action is to do something drastic. The treatment of those Palestinians is just wrong and it Screams up to high heaven for a remedy. It’s a disgrace to the modern world
Blame Hamas the ruling political party for lack of resources and infrastructure in palestine, they have billionaires and millionaires yet their people live in poverty, that's not Israel's fault.
This film was on at the Filmoteca in March 2024 in Madrid. Often the Spanish burst into applause if they've liked a film, then bust into their verbal opinions. Today there was utter silence as the final scene rolled into the credits. Utter silence until someone who'd seemed to miss the point of the film shouted out her support for the Palestinians. No one echoed her words. Everyone respected the silence, mostly remaining in their seats as the credits they probably couldn't read in Arabic rolled. A nuanced film at a time of political bulls in the china shops of our European streets. Highly recommended.
I'm not here to argue politics...all I'm going to say is that this freaking "trailer" is giving away the whole movie! Had to stop watching it
saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaame...i was scrolling for 1 comment like this
Love the music!
@cryingangel88 It's got an impressive list of Awards, including the American Academy Award nomination and it Did take The Golden Globe For "Best Picture" Foreign. I think a lot of People saw this movie, but the Media did it's best NOT to cover it. Typical! At least here in the USA.
2019 “Respect and dignity.”
It is a great film to me. People are people, not everything is dark or light. Absurd conflicts keep on going because people, from both side are, close minded.
You are 20. You will learn with age that only very few leaders think about others. Most leaders do think about themselves. Personal ambition and love of power.
That's only a trailer. Do watch the whole film, it is really good indeed.
Great film.
that is how wars start: dehumanizing the enemy.
@chalitzah the movie didnt say that other arab governments are perfect nor did have to do with other arab countries, it is about the horrible situation of palestine and isreal....so how is it fictional
btw fiction doesnt mean you dont want to believe it
I'm Palestinian, and I think I look like an arab if u ask me
because its true
@xenafan234 I'm glad that someone finally notices!
well obviously you know nothing about the Palestinians ,20% of the population live on less than 3 % of the land after they used to own the majority of it ? we Palestinians in Jordan live wherever we want and buy and sell our properties with no discrimination ,unlike our brothers inside the land occupied in 1948 ,learn before you talk
why should they accept the partition plan or any other foreign colonialists?
said is so good looking
la bande annonce n'est pas en fr
Fake it until you make it
Freepalestine!
IT WAS THE Kingdon Of ISRAEL !.. First !...... Palestine ! Was Created ! By The Roman Emperor ! HADRIAN around ! 132 AD ! After ! He retaliated ! Against the Jews ! For The Bar Kokhba Revolt ! Burned Down Jerusalem ! Building a New Roman Colony OnTop ! Calling It Aelia Capitolina !!!! Including ! A Temple to Jupiter ! Near where Salomon'sTemple Had Stood !! And sold The surviving Jews into Slavery ... And He ReNamed ! The Land !.. Palestina Around The Year 136 !!!!;!!
@Ray Yanez shut up you racist
You have degree, job. If not try, try to get it. This is much more important
I said there is discrimination against the Palestinian population of Israel you talk about equal rights ? The vast majority and nearly all of the Palestinians inside the Green Line study in "their" private schools which some of them were founded before the establishment of the state itself.
Maybe they should have thought of that before they rejected the partition plan and invaded Israel.
Nigel Appleby INVADED ISREAL!!! IT WAS NEVER A REAL COUNTRY!!!!! THE BRITISH PEOPLE OCCUPIED IT AND THEN KICKED OUT ALLLL OF THE JEWS FROM THEIR LAND AND ON TO PALESTINE!!!!
and now they are the only country of that region that accepts palestians to study in their good schools and give equal rights to them
Hhhaahhahhahhqh sure
