looks great! i dig the murdered out look on the buick.
Where did you get that hood? I'm getting ready to buy my Supercharged motor on Thursday and I would love to have this
Super clean car, perfect wheels too
Love the combination
Sweet ride
Man it looks good
we need to talk .. i'm getting my t type in a week and i would like to know about the super charger you put on .. i'd like to get the car done so that i can get your car off my desk top screen saver ! thanks for the inspiration .
OBD1 to OBD2 probably would be the hardest thing to do with this swap.
Car looks fast!
Can you do a video where you hit the gas so we could hear that baby purr?
👍
nice ttype like the flat black on it
I miss my car man... XC 88 buick lesabre limited... Rip
Really love the car but the grand national badges are bad
They actually did make a Lesabre Grand National.
I own a 1986 Grand National, I have never once heard of a grand national lesabre... not once.
Gary Miller There's this thing called the internet, you should check it out.
@@garymiller6755 it's definitely a real thing. Look it up
How did you get the OBD2 engine to play nice with the OBD1 car?
I used a 1999 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi as a complete donor car. It's using an OBDII ECM from the Bonneville. I took the entire drivetrain out of it (including the OBDII engine wiring harness) and adapted the harness to the LeSabre under-dash harness.
@@TurboMalibuV6 that makes sense. I hate electrical work, otherwise, I have an itch to L67 swap a GM A-Body. Ideally an AWD Pontiac 6000.
I'm interested in doing a similar swap in a 92 regal. what did you have to modify in terms of wiring?

New paint job?
Are those Mustang rims???
Yes, they are. They actually bolt on and fit without any spacers or modifications. Plus, the tires don't rub either.
Hope I can get my 04 imp ss to sound as good as that
nice Mercury Marauder wheels
They're Ford Mustang wheels. No spacers, no rubbing and has the correct bolt pattern that bolts directly to the Buick. Just need to get the FORD signature off the center caps.
I'd like one but with the f40 6 speed trans
Dude rid the badging it's stupid. Also this isn't a T-type anything. U put a supercharger from a 2004 monti along with the engine cover.
This IS a 1988 T-Type LeSabre. I put a 1999 Bonneville SSEi Supercharged complete drivetrain in it. Also, I'll put any kind of badging I want on the car as it's MINE; not yours. The option for the LeSabre T-Type is WE2. Look it up...it's the same code as a Regal Grand National. Plus, did you know that in 1986 Buick actually made 112 LeSabre Grand Nationals??? Look that up too before you call it/me stupid.
You are correct, but I'd made it turbo charged... easily done with the L67. Then it's true to form just like a grand national but fwd
No I would stick with the series 2 or 3 supercharged engine.
