    I REALLY like that you
    upgraded / addressed the inadequate braking system. Most folks only care about making their vehicle faster or quicker. They don't realize or consider the fact that they have to slow it down... Lol ...

      I just inherited my dads 2003 Buick Lesabre Custom. He bought it new and it’s been a garage Queen with only 54k on it. I never gave the car much attention while he owned it, but I must say... it rides super smooth, very quiet, and it handles very predictably. I can now see why so many people like these things. I also hear that they have a reputation for a bullet proof drivetrain. The sleeper in this video is totally bad ass.

    It's a sleeper until you see the wheels, brakes, and stickers, I'd find out what the lightest OEM looking alloys are and throw those on then get a set of sticky tires and white wall them, then you have a sleepy :) I had an 04 Impala SS 12ish years ago with a lot of ZZP and Intense parts on it (also had the F body brakes), fun cars to play with. I've had a couple different projects since, now working on a Coyote powered truck. Nice car, I really miss working on L67's they're super forgiving.

    • @ramzo1538
      @ramzo1538  ปีที่แล้ว

      Naw. This is still a sleeper man. Those brakes are stock brakes off of a Pontiac. Sticky tires would be a dead giveaway. Stickers definitely don't mean anything. It was impossible for ppl to take me seriously when I would call them out on the road to race. The only time they would bite is when I would jump on them and they heard the turbo... Sold the car a while ago. Building a 66 SS Vert Impala right now.

    Without getting into too much detail here, I wan to lay out what I am planning and ask you more questions offline? I am taking an L67 and mounting an M90 on it and putting it in a RWD 63 Rambler 2 door wagon. When you turn the engine in the bay, there is little room for the Throttle Body and intake because of the firewall. I want to make a spacer like yours with a 90 Degree bend in it. I am wondering how this would affect performance? You could send me a note at Jahpastuff at the old GEEMALE site

      Go to 3800 performance (the one with over 11k members) and 3800 marketplace.
      Ed LaBarge makes and sells these. He's VERY well known on the groups. He's known to have the best design. It really helps with heat soak and I paid just under 500 for it.

      My bad bro... The tb spacer was made by Ed as well... The main reason I did it, just because no one else had it... Lol
      Hit me up on FB ... Shawn N Suzanne Ramsey.

    Man that’s a badass setup. I have one that’s modded before I got it. Having trouble with a lean condition at idle and through rpms. Found no pcv in it and I think my map sensor is shit. Unplugged it and no change. Running north star tb and a gen5 sc. checked vacuum leaks and can’t find one. Runs smooths as hell but 15-16 af at idle is concurring me. Any advice?

    How much whp was it making in this vid with that setup? 2.55" pulley with 5% OD equates to like a 2.3" pulley i believe. Thanx God for that E85

    • @ramzo1538
      @ramzo1538  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      On this setup it was making around 480 crank. So high 3s to the tires would be a good guess.

    I've got a 2000 Custom with 85k. Is it too late to consider something like this? Already need to replace seals and needs some suspension work

    I really wish that LeSabre came supercharged. I think that it is nicer looking than Park Avenue.

    Hey I watched video and I was wondering wat is the name of that extra extension bar that’s holding the supercharged belt down and does that add horse power?

    • @ramzo1538
      @ramzo1538  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey buddy. It's called a belt wrap. It does not add horsepower, but it helps to prevent loss of horsepower by preventing the belt from slipping. Once you start running smaller pulleys you have to run one.

    swap the corrugated intake tubing with one thats smooth and you will notice a BIG difference!

    • @ramzo1538
      @ramzo1538  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      No need to...I have a new setup. I'm still using the tube for the turbos filter.

    I stumbled onto this video, so if my questions have already been answered below, please let me know. I used to have a regal gs , i miss it and all but i let it go a while back. I have now inherited an 03 Lesabre With 90k from original owner and after doing all the basic tune ups it’s 100% and in mint condition. I cant seem to find information on what is needed to get this thing supercharged. I’m not asking for a miracle here, i know it’s heavy as hell and I don’t expect to be running circles around anyone but i would like some more power at least. So other than injectors and a tune along with the basics ( different plugs , intake exhaust etc) could you please give me some guidance on what and where to start? Thanks, much appreciated, good video.

      If you're not on the 3800 groups in fb, join them. On the group 3800marketplace there is usually someone selling everything you need. Look up "Top Swap" on Google. The other group 3800performance with like 12k members is a great place to find info. Search through the posts, because a lot of this has been talked about extensively.

    I just turned 14 today and I know nothing about cars. My dad found a 2001 Buick lesabre with 35,000 miles on it for 200 dollars and it will probably be my first car. Me and my grandpa who is an auto mechanic are gonna work on it and I can’t wait. Is there anything I should know before I start?
