Yeah the base head unit really is sub par on this car. I upgraded mine (2010) to a Pioneer Avh 3200 and it made a world of difference.

    Correction: 180 lb.ft. of torque. ;)

i can't say i agree with his review. Then again i have a 07 3.5 SE with leather, soft plastics, leather on the doors and the CVT which actually works well. i run high 13s in the car. no it isnt stock but its pretty close.

Yep NISSAN makes one of the most powerful STANDARD 4 cylinder sedans on the market.

I have the 2012 2.5 SE SPECIAL EDITION and it does not have a USB in the armrest.

  • @187441

"Standard" 175 horsepower? Not quite standard for a 4 cylinder. Also, it is 180 Ib-ft, not 170. It is a good, nice, sporty car for a sedan. Just because it doesn't have some bullshit tech doesn't make it bad.

I drive an altima~ However, how come nobody ever consider Chevy's malibu? I mean the design of the Malibu is a lot more classier then camry or accord, though not as sporty as the altima.

Funny lol, my aunts and uncles all own bmws, mercedez with flashy screens and extras. It turns out none of them are convenient and hard to use while driving lol. Waste of money

    It has 180 lb-ft torque not 170.

I agree. I like the Malibu much better than the Camry and Accord but not as much as the Altima and the Ford Fusion.

yeah, all that technology like anti lock brakes, blind spot warning, adaptive cruise control, automatic headlights, blinkers in the side mirrors, third brake lights...etc...it is such crap... Kind of like when they started putting those new fan-dangled seatbelts in cars, or started using laminated safety glass windshields, using air bags, front disc brakes to stop sooner, started using radial tires instead of bias ply tires...shall I go on?

  • @455Transam

Ok, it has a socket to plug in a USB, I don't know of any car that has an actual USB port.

  • @FD36

Safety oriented tech is welcomed, permanent traction control is a no-no though. Most of the stuff you mentioned wouldn't be needed if cars(trucks and large vehicles is another thing) were not equipped with a screen in the center of the damn dash. Blind spot warning wouldn't be needed if ignorant drivers were able to take a glance at the side of their car, adaptive cruise ctrl wouldn't be needed if you simply turned the old fashioned one off in traffic, & auto head lamps? lol!

    a 2.5s 2010 altima can do 0-60 in 7.3 to 7.5 seconds not 8.5

    • @user-oq3lv6lv7x
      @user-oq3lv6lv7x 5 ปีที่แล้ว

Moe11032 no because the has longer ratios then the 07-09. the 07-09 did it in 7.3

Maybe you'll like the new Malibu even more then~ It's new design is much more "sportier", but I don't like it... I like Malibu for it's classy look. I don't like the new Altima's look neither! ...Why do they both failed at reinventing themselves?

The Nissan Altima has always been a very boring car to look at and drive. You want a small Nissan, buy a Sentra, you want a big Nissan, buy the Maxima.
