As a lower end collector that hasn't played in years, im actually glad the exodia limbs were reprinted as QCRs in this set. I sure as hell am not dropping $200 on each peice for starlights and I like the way QCRs look. This tin is probably targeted at casual players like me I would imagine
as a person who just got back into yugioh within the last 3-4 years the excitement that comes with pulling an exodia piece at such a high rariety does bring a sort of nostaliga to when we were kids because those cards were so hard to get back in the day og yugioh. Sam pulled every piece except the head of the forbidden one
I agree, I got exodia head from last years tins and im very happy i can complete the full QCR exodia set. The starlights cost far too much and budget options should exist. This tin is also a big deal for my fellow Relinquished fans, with Anima being the very first QCR given to the archetype. Toon Kingdom, too, for the toons fans. We're all starving
so to clear up. Every rarity has its own set pool of cards meaning that if a card is available in ScR the card will only be available in that rarity. So there is no QcR S:P or DMG in that specific version in this Set. Also one thing they said when they first announced the tin is that every card that already got a QcR print will not be a QcR print in this tin meaning every QcR in this tin is a completely new print. Only the head of exodia got a QcR print prior i believe but all the other parts didnt so they got one here for example. This also means that with a 100 different secret rares and one secret rare per pack the chance of getting the value cards like S:P or wanted wich are all ScR btw. is about 1% per pack so good luck finding those.

From what I've seen nothing is short printed, it's just naturally hard to pull due to the set being so big so essentially the cards that you want is always "short printed"
Nah dude, sorry but S.P is 100% short printed. I watched a dude open 200 tins and S.P was literally the only card he didnt get, whilst getting multiples of every other one. In fact so far Sam is the only YugiTuber I have seen who even pulled an S.P, but then he always pulls the top search card because he gets stacked products as part of his sponsorship. Not having a go at Sam there by any means, love him and all his content, but it is hard to get excited when he pulls a card because we already knew he would get it.

Battles of legend was starlight rare exodia pieces. These pieces are qcr and as a new exodia player it's a welcome sight especially since we only got a qcr head last year
personally I like the qcr exodia pieces because they are one of my favorite card(s?) and pulling out all the stops on an obliterate is sooo nice but I agree that they should have a little bit more

I kept thinking as I was opening the cards that the only one I would really want was Dark Magician Girl since I remembered her from the anime. Then I pulled her QCR on the last pack 😂 (I had a pretty similar reaction to when you pulled yours around 23:26) So I'm definitely set. Cool pulls on your end. I have no idea what any of them do, but they all look pretty neat. I like the Wannabee! art :)
The reasoning for the QCR prints are to celebrate the 25 years of Yu-Gi-Oh! through what they consider as the most influential cards to come out over the course of 25 years of the anime/manga. They weren't really aimed at getting people super overly used things in higher rarities, but moreso just for the nostalgia bait.
Dude, you keep calling Starlight rares QCSR’s. Yes, they have the same artwork, but they were printed in a higher rarity. Now they printed in the lower rarity and more affordable.

Last year tin, the Exodia head was printed in the top rare that also in this year tin. they doing the limbs cause it be a Set of all 5 cards in that rare, but also for the Exodia cards support that came out this year to. 50 top rares 100 lower rares 150 Ultra rares 100 commons, that what in this tin.

I made a mistake and bought 4 cases of this tin. It's fine though. We'll just get lots of blue eyes and DMGs. Actually, that Kuriboh alt art was printed for NA back in 2003's Yu-Gi-Oh! Power of Chaos: Yugi the Destiny Limited Collector's Edition set.
It could also come with a gameboy gx game I can't remember if it was 2005 or 2006 I just know it's the 1 I have

I think the reason they keep on putting a lot of these kind of cards for Port of Entry Ultra and stuff is just to show love for the previous cards about the 25 years to show some love from you know
The ones you say are already QCR, I know what you mean but they aren’t QCR. They’re starlight. Like exodus pieces and black winged dragon. They’re already starlights, just got reprinted as QCR’s now. I agree that it is kinda dumb though.
I bought a tin today and the very first pack I opened had a Blue Eyes SPK QCR in it and after watching this video i realize how impressive that really is

Angel reprint lets fucking go. I pulled a qcr one from a box opening when it first came out, instantly sold it to the shop and made my money back on the box lol

I made a mistake and bought 4 cases of this tin. It's fine though. We'll just get lots of blue eyes and DMGs. I don't know what I'm going to do with 48 tins though lol, at least the art on them is cool. If anyone wants to watch me regret my financial decision LIVE I'll hopefully be streaming this weekend if my order comes in.
