I think there’s a lore reason why Mohg has more power than Morgott. It’s a simple matter of Mohg being loved by his patron god and it’s followers, and Morgott is so hated by the golden order and the greater will that barely anyone knows who the mysterious “king of Leyndell” is. Mohg is fueled by the formless mother’s power, while Morgott has to make due with taking power from a god who’s extremely racist against anyone who isn’t a typical human, especially Omens.

This is excellent work! I feel like if you bridged 1:44 and 1:59 the mashup would be more compact ‘cause the build up for the main theme is identical to the omen illusion one. Just personal opinion though.
Best fight in the game. The feel of him fighting is so unique and it makes me feel like being good isn't good enough anymore for him. His entire move set is probably the most fair but hard in late game horah loux close second And then there's his lore, an omen abandoned by his family and left with his brother in a sewer and when he escapes he pledges to a formless god and makes his blood burn with his passion for his dynasty of murdering bloody fingers, then he kidnaps miquella an empyrean then makes him Brain dead and straight up rapes him in hopes he'll be his consort. Somewhat amusing that some sources within the game write Mohg off as a raving lunatic who won't amount to much, but the Mohgwyn Dynasty and the horrors that lurk there, and the power Mohg himself wields makes it clear he could have grown to become a significant threat. Plus he did kidnap the most fearsome Empyran to become their consort.
His fight is a tricky one even when compared to Margit/Morgott's fight. But in a sense, it almost felt like the Nameless King boss battle all over again, learning his slow but powerful moves... It felt good when I got hit less and the back and forth just felt too similar to the other fight I mentioned, and which who is my number one favorite boss fight in the entire series (Nameless King if I should be more specific) So I might consider installing the Reforged Mod since it has a boss resurrection feature. I may practice with that and improve as I go, and maybe I will get that same feeling of a great boss battle again. Sorry if that was long, but I do enjoy that same feeling when fighting a boss, since there's only one (Nameless King) and Mohg just might take a seat right next to NK as another one of my favorites
@@tylervanpeursem7627*DS3 late game spoilers* Pontiff would've made for a better final boss than Soul Of Cinder if he went to phase 2 after depleting his entire healthbar. Pontiff is more aggressive, has more rollcatch, does more damage, has longer combos, and is one of the most evil Soulsborne characters right next to mohg. Soul of Cinder is still a great boss though, phase 2 was stunning.
