I'm telling you bro if you wanted this boss to be free pre-patch you needed a 99 Strength build 2 hand colossal. I made a character exactly like that and poise breaked the fuck out of em and beat him in 2 tries. It was really after doing that that I unironically realized how carried strength builds are in Elden Ring bro. Hearing people say that I was always like "Nah you still gotta have a lot of skill tho" but nah bro ya'll strength builds are mediocre, your more trash then the people who use spirits and summons. At least they think, all ya'll gotta do is press the special button and you win and that is literally what I did too with that character! Great Sword with giants hunt is broken against radahn pre-patch im telling you I promise it takes almost no skill. No buffs or shield either I did it raw with one sword.

Not even divinity, not even godhood, can rid of the quiet and solemn sorrow of cruelty enacted onto the innocent. I love how FromSoft has this underlying message at the very core of its games. That the ascension to godhood comes with a price, and it doesn't hide or shield you from the actions you partook in the pursuit of that goal. How there is no escape from torment, how people are just evil for the sake of being evil, and how they try to justify their actions with the talks of fate or destiny or some other angelic bullshit that helps them explain their actions.

"The Royal Aegis" is such a badass title.

To think that I used this masterpiece for the final boss of my DnD Game (19th session) after the party was almost wiped out from the BBEG and in a desperate move a friendly Zodar who saw the party's intentions to save their friend, a wizard who was being used to fuel and revive a monster from the deeps, the Zodar casted Wish and perish, to fully restore the party's points and the wizard who was drained and being caged in a magical prison, broke free, but without his right arm, left leg, organs and eyes. He was completely gone, but hearing the cry of help from the party and the Zodar's final words make him stand up to rally everyone and seal the dark creation away from the world. Everyone on my table were crying because they loved the wizard and seeing him barely standing up but still with a will to fight and defy death was shocking to them, and yeah, they won the final fight, at the cost of him, the wizard, their friend, being a broken being, but it was at their side, on their backs, the whole time, like Miquella.

I like your loop of it better than the official loop during the fight. Seems choppy the way it sounds in the fight, but this version is just seamless and epic

Something I think should be obvious, but I rarely see anyone talking about, is the tone in both theme, and this also applies to "Erdtree Knights" : The latter part of Margit's OST sounds a lot more tune, or rather, feels "more desperate". It's almost like the match is portrayed as a great wall for the player, but as Margit is nearing his end of the HP, he panics and focuses further to prevent you access to Stormveil Castle. In fact, I feel like the entirety of Morgott's theme has this feeling of desperation a lot more. It's like Morgott realized the mere tarnished he got beaten by some days ago is now at the doorstep to the Erdtree, and is afraid of what you'll do, protecting to greater heights. In the "Erdtree Knights", the same also applies. The first phase presents itself as a grandiose battle between the tiny tarnished and the tree sentinel, yet following the second phase, it's more of the tree sentinel trying to quickly end the Tarnished to set them back.

Gwyn, The Lord Of Cinder that dwelled within him, was also awestruck with a melancholy realization as they had come to a small, derelict and empty village... _The Shaman Village._ *_Marika's home._* The Tarnished was breathing slowly, the shock of what he had stumbled on outweighing his own survival instincts as he felt overcome by what they had found out. As he sat near the Minor Erdtree sapling, he and Gwyn stared into space as they comprehended what they had just _remembered:_ *_Why Marika had such HATRED against those blessed by The Crucible._* In ages long past, the Shaman Village was a sort of haven for the peaceful Shamanic folk, where they practiced their Incantations and their rituals in peace. It was a simple, idyllic life, where Marika would dream of bigger things on the horizon, where The Shadow Lands ended and The Land Between would begin. ...It was a simple, idyllic existence. *_...Until The Hornsent descended upon the village._* For twisted reasons that even The Crucible found appalling, but were seen as justified by The Hornsent, the band of Hornsent brigands rounded up the innocent men, women and children for horrific rituals... *_And slaughtered those that resisted, leaving nothing but desecrated ruins and lingering horrors in the survivors minds, before taking those other unfortunate survivors of to serve in heinous, degrading rituals._* The Tarnished was quietly sobbing, his own face a look of shocked, sad reflection as he realized.. *_This is where Marika's hatred for The Crucible began._* The only survivors were her, a few scattered remnants... *_And The Tarnished themselves, though he was but a child then._* Gwyn did his best to comfort his protegè, but.. _How could HE hope to heal the wounds of time from his own friend, who's grief was more than either had known?_ The Tarnished had locked these memories away, the trauma too much to try to recover from, but they came flooding back after the Minor Erdtree sapling healed his memories. *_There was nothing he could do._* But.. The Tarnished reflected upon the memories he had, and the path he chose, after a time... _And still stood against Marika firmly, his own sense of justice winning over his trauma._ Marika was a victim of The Hornsent, but she had let her anger fester and rot until it was _hatred._ No matter what her pain was... *_There was no excuse for what she did to Morgott... or Mohg._* The Tarnished, his eyes still red with grief but filled with the determination he had always felt, looked to Gwyn's spirit, and conveyed what the two were thinking: Miquella had to be stopped, after what he did... *_But Marika still needed to be stopped as well, for this... was not justice or revenge._* She needed to be stopped , before more innocents like his siblings were hurt... *_Or Worse._*

if you listen closely, this ost has radagons tune in it, messmers theme is the main menu theme but remixed and shares the same theme with radagon, but damn messmer is the best red head fr
