  • Welcome back to The Interviews for Physio Students and New Grads.
Our guest this time is Clinical Physio's Khalid Maidan. This interview gave me an excellent opportunity to speak to the man behind the educational platform and pull out some brilliant advice and tips for physiotherapy students and new grads!
We talk through, CPD for Physio Students and newly qualified physiotherapists, job interview advice, preparing for Band 5 posts, physio rotations in the NHS, changes in the physiotherapy education system, how to keep up with CPD and how to overcome comparing yourself to others, recommended research papers, books and loads more.
Useful Links to the research and books mentioned, plus answers to the final questions I always ask the guests.
A research paper that is perhaps old but remains important in your clinical practice.
The Back Pain Revolution by Gordon Waddell

The most recent paper you’ve read that’s changed your practice.

If physiotherapy wasn’t an option, then what career would you have liked to have had?
    A Football Coach
If you could be anywhere in the world whilst teaching on a webinar where would it be?
Bahrain for extended periods of time, close to his father’s side of the family.
