It’s crazy how in half of viper’s games it really looks like he’s about to lose. I wonder if he’s had allies resign because they think their teammate has lost prematurely.
been watching for a few years and im still amazed by how many things you can keep track of on a map at one time. keep up the vids man they are great!

Tries to go 4vs4 fc without walling as flank and gets surprised when feudal pressure happens xD
The early scout shenanigans was probably the factor which hurt his strat the most, Viper had to grab an early loom thanks to not having food which slowed down his timings compared to everyone else.
@@ad3z10 The fact that Viper was late with his boar might have contributed to his decision to Fast Castle. He had to go late up to Feudal anyway.

What happen to garrisoned units if you'll convert the build (eg stable)?
Those units still be there unless you unleash them. On a transportship you can send to the largest corner as possible or delete it, that situation you kill them all.
you can use this to pop cap them

Why are Xolotl shit? They are the same as knights, right? I mean, you don't get defensive upgrades, but it's still a fine base unit and useful for sniping enemy siege, no?
Is Arabia some kind of meme? So many maps appearently are called Arabia...
Not sure if serious, but the game generates random maps based on a seed - arabia has a big variety of appearances and layouts

So arabia is what you call the way trees and other resources are set up on this map, but it can have the appearance of a nordic forest too?! I got that right?
@@partlycurrent yup - theres pre-made maps too, but most competitive play is on Random Maps because it makes the games more interesting when players cant memorize the layout
@@partlycurrent man arabia is more known and generic among players. Probably its known because of the maps mechanic. Its a land map, you raid enemy, fight everywhere and try to get map control. For example on Black Forest map, you cannot raid enemy because walling is too easy and you only take one big fight. In arabia, though, you do fight everywhere and you can even use your civilizations benefits better. Just like mobility with huns, mongols, franks, etc. There is for sure more maps like this, but arabia is the probably oldest one, and most pros and people prefer it to the others.
