There's a thought. Archers, cavalry are terrible at knocking on buildings - infantry are returning after the buff, but need decent numbers to really raze buildings. But monks? 100 gold a pop, and the 'destroyed' building becomes yours. More combat capable than a ram, faster at building destruction than a mango. Just, you know, is a monk...

I really would like to see a 5TC Huns Castle Age play on Arena by you. I tried to make it work, and due to the saving of wood with no houses need to build, you can play a sick eco and by the time the enemy reaches his castle age, youll be ahead 10+ vills and can start producing military after 2mins of castle age time. My game plan was going 22 vils up to feudal, 30 vils up to castle, with 10 on wood, 4 on gold, 2 on stone and the rest on upgraded farms. I think this can be a viable strat. The enemy might try to push you, but after a minute of pressure or so, youll be having double the amount of military, and upgrading those already. Since you have a huge eco lead, your upgrades be kicking in as well. Only thing might be considered is a civ that can have an equally fast uptime as huns. still i cant think of many that will stand their ground after hitting castle age against 5tc boom plus military production, as it only gets worse for the other player.
Would be really nice to see a strat like this being executed to perfection by an Aoe professional like you.
When going monks like this, what are the most i.portant monestary upgrades?

How Viper "program" tasks with vills..
Vills are collecting food from sheep 1, and then viper use a option to program the vills to collect food from sheep 2 after... any shortcut? can someone clarify me pls?
Using shift you can queue tasks for vills

@@SuperMicose Shift queue is exclusive for AOE 2 DE.
So Helberders + Skirmishers + Siege Onagers only work against Huns, but not Mongols?
Teutons and Slavs basically have no counter to Mongols.

Hera committed too much resources on cav archers and had less vils. Viper also lost a few mangos and plenty of monks but then Hera also lost 2 castles and trebs. I don't think it was impossible per se, but lack of onager and bombard cannon for Huns would make it a non realistic expectation. So he respected Viper enough to not stall it out.

Civ win. Not even behind at any point in this game. That is simple.
Defense in German is just rear offense.
I can understand way better what Viper in English says than what Hera says, and that with Hera being a native english speaker. Hera should consider to put that psychologic potato out of his mouth.
