Such an amazing place to visit. Photos does this place no justice. If you never been, try to go.
Truly blew us away the entire time. The views were spectacular and an amazing experience
I appreciate this guide to saving money however, it does seem complicated. I calculated how much it would cost me to do this independently versus a tour and I’ll be paying $100 more for an organized tour which will takeoff a lot of stress and do all this for me. They also pick me up at my hotel from Cusco. In this case it’s worth saving it a little extra for a little less hassle. Nevertheless, great video.😊
Thanks for sharing your perspective! It's always important to weigh the pros and cons before making a decision. I'm glad you found the video helpful.
Im Going please share the link to the travel guide.
@@nmmk9134 I did it with a company called Machu Pichu Terra. I took the full day package and paid $270. It was incredible. It Included pick up at hotel , train to Aguas Caliente and bus to Machu Pichu. Also included a guide and photographers that were with you all day. Google them and read my review! Have fun. ( PS I did go in February which is low season and it rained so it may cost more in the summer which is high season)

I'm a big ancient culture enthusiast and have always wanted to go to Machu Picchu. I just wonder how my body would feel at that height and my age? Would being that high up give me anxiety/acrophobia? I would like to know how did it affect you while there even though you're much younger? The altitude part. Great content always
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad you enjoy the content. As for the altitude at Machu Picchu, it can definitely affect people differently, regardless of age. It takes some days to get acclimated to it but there were a lot of older people there as well. Stay safe and keep exploring!
@@ChewsToExplore Thanks for your reply and information. It's definitely "high" on my bucket list .Yeah I know corny attempt 😁..
What a great idea to keep luggage in Lima
Thanks for tuning in, yea definitely cheaper to get a cheap accommodation than to pay those baggage fees.
The natural waters coming down from Machupichu are super clean 😊
Absolutely! The natural waters in Machupichu are known for their purity. It's truly a sight to behold!
Thankz for Sharing God Blessings ☝️ 😊 Cheerz from Auckland New Zealand 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

Thank you!
Once again another well done video by you and Olivia. Did you have to take any vaccines before visiting Peru? Thanks for the information.
No Vaccines required, just bring your passport as an American!
This is so insightful. Thank you. What time of year did you go and what temperature should I pack for?
Thank you so much for the support to our channel. Glad you found it helpful. We were there in July and you have to be prepared for it all around that time!
Looks amazing wanna really do this. Are you both Kenyan saw the bracelet, as I’m from there too
Thank you for the support to our channel. No we are not but I got the bracelet when I visited Kenya about 5 years ago!
Awesome! What’s the next trip?
Thanks for checking out my channel we have a lot of trips lined up but this is Peru!
Handsome couple. Good job Folks!!!
Thank you so much!
Machu Picchu is so magical! You two gave such helpful info on how to get there. Its definitely a pricey long ride there but so worth it! Def agree staying in the pueblo is necessary
Thanks again for supporting us. I couldn't believe how affordable the country is yet how much the ride to machu Picchu was
When you booked your Machu Picchu ticket online did it give you an option for Circuit 2? Thank you for this useful info!!
Yes, we actually did not chose a circuit. We chose the option that was like 1,2,3,4 and just went on circuit 2. It all depends on how early you are planning to book. Machu Picchu tickets sell out months in advance
Great video and very informative but can you not take the Inca rail directly from Cusco? Thank you
Thank you so much for the support of the channel. No you need to take the bus first to get to Ollantaytambo
🌺The Temple and sacred rock were amazing …did you drink the non-aging water😉
Haha liv did not let me do it
This is great information. What if I don’t want to hike up. I have a bad ankle that I’m rehabbing so it can get a little tricky for me on steps and uneven payment. Will they allow no guide and only visit the 1st level? Of course I want the great IG photo then I want to exit.
I totally understand your concern about hiking up with a bad ankle. You may be able to visit the first level without a guide, but it's best to check with the park authorities for the most accurate information. Different circuits have different levels of hiking available. Take care of yourself and get that IG-worthy photo!
Hey cool peeps 😊
Thank you so much for all your continued support!
Bruhhhhhhhh!!!!!! I been to alot of the wonders. Never have i ever had to do that many steps just to get to a place. I'm gonna hate myself in like 3 weeks 😩😩😩😩
Haha I told you its not easy but it will all be worth it!
My flight from lima to Cusco was $120 CAD for just personal item and I booked 1.5 months out.
Sorry our flight was a lot cheaper than that. It depnds on the time of the year and airline as well.
The weather is bright and sunny,,, what month was this?
This was in the end of June/July a little chilly but we had amazing weather for sure!
What bus and how did you guys took the bus to Ollantaytambo from Cusco? Was the bus station walking distance from the historic center? Did you have to walk a far to the train station after being dropped off by the bus?
Check out our peru travel guide with a lot more details chewstoexplore.com/product/explore-peru-travel-guide/
Did you booked the ticket to cusco from lima while there our before leaving usa?
We got it months before we traveled
3:31 is it possible for you to add a compass direction at the corner map you showed??
Because Machu Picchu is actually at Northwest of Cusco!! And for most People live at Northern Hemisphere, just read that map might think Machu Picchu is at Southeast of Cusco.
Thank you for your suggestion! I appreciate your feedback and I'll definitely take it into consideration for future videos. It's important to provide accurate information, so I'll make sure to add a compass direction to the corner map in my next travel guide.
Hey guys- did yall book your flight from Lima to Cusco once you got there or beforehand
We booked everything months before getting there!
Do you recommend tennis shoes or hiking shoes?
We went in tennis shoes and had no issue
Thank you. ❤
🌺WHAT ..no walking sticks😳
Nope no walking sticks because people have destroyed the ruins
I can’t find Miguel’s contact. Help pleaseeeeee
All information on our trip can be found in our peru travel guide chewstoexplore.com/product/explore-peru-travel-guide/
Why no selfie sticks in machu?😅
Haha not sure but im not asking questions
The Spanish would have destroyed it, if they known about it.
I Completely agree with all of that
Amazing video… exactly what I was looking for!! Hugs from Brazil🫵🏽🫵🏽🫶🏽
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad the video was helpful to you. We are actually in Brasil right now!
My boy Chew right on time. I'm trying to go here this summer. I'm looking at $300 flights from Miami as we speak.
