Have had both. I prefer the P07 for its size; easier to draw and handles better. Both concealed fairly easily for me. Stock CZs don’t have great DA/SA triggers in my opinion; too many hiccups and usually a lackluster reset. Especially when compared to Berettas. But it’s fixed easily enough. Definitely recommend cajunizing your DA/SA CZ, regardless of model. Also helps with the trigger return springs which do break easily enough.

I really enjoy the introduction/ mini Podcast portion of your videos. The breakup is awesome. I had an OD green P0-7 will full polishing and MCARBO that I sold. I was only okay with it because I have two fully cajunized P-01's. That said I miss the P-07 terribly, and I see why they say never sell something you actually like.

Why not just get a P10C at that point. I guess I don't understand why everyone adds extensions to every gun these days regardless of their starting capacity

    • @777LAZARUS
      @777LAZARUS 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

@PitbullSoco I think it’s about versatility personally. The P10s has a half inch shorter barrel and options to carry with a shorter grip length. People with a smaller frame may find the shorter grip and barrel helpful in conceal ability as opposed to a larger compact like the C. I’m a bigger guy so I can conceal both relatively well (more “abdominal real estate”). But people may want the shorter dimensions with option to increase capacity and grip length in the winter when you can wear thicker clothing so you don’t worry about printing, but can go back to stock grip in hotter months without having to buy a different gun to be more concealable under thinner clothes.

I too like my P10C. I had a Gen 1 with the troubles you talked about & after sending it into CZ they sent me back a Gen 2 P10C. Wow! Much, much better 3-1/2 lb. crisp trigger pull which is almost as good as the VP9 & PDP's triggers, mags stay in while shooting competition due to the revamp of the grip protecting the mag release, easier mag dumps, & they even sent me back my Theta trigger that is superior to the original trigger (no more pinching of your finger, feels great, and no trigger hangups!) Only my adjusted Springfield Ronin Elite 1911 in 10 mm to 4 lbs. has a better trigger (was 6-1/2 from the factory). In fairness to CZ , I've had many problems which required factory service. Had to send back: P365, P365XL, Kimber Micro 9, LCP2, LC9s Pro, Shield Plus, P10C, Springfield Ronin Elite 1911 in 10 mm. Pistols I haven't had to send back: Ruger SR9C in 9 mm, XDM 4.5" in 9 mm, Glock 20 (fixed it myself).
You are so right when you talked about manufacturers making Micro 9's have increased their size. I bought and have shot extensively from small to large: an LCP2, Kimber Micro 9, P365, Ruger LC9s, P365XL, Shield Plus 4" ported barrel, Ruger SR9C, P10C, XDM 4.5". The biggest one that I will carry is the Shield Plus 4" as it fits nicely at the 3-4'Clock position. I've had the X-Macro in my hands and love how it feels, but it was not made for the concealed carry market, unless you're into carrying big guns, which I am not. In the pocket I use mostly the LCP2 because it's like carrying nothing (Seriously, you forget that it's there!!!), but the P365 is so much with more power, better trigger, sights, & capacity, is more durable, reliable, and has low recoil for a micro 9. Additional barrel length noticeably hits steel targets harder and is obvious while shooting. I've come to the conclusion a 4" barrel is a good compromise between power factor and carrying the pistol. The Shield Plus shines because is shoots very close to my P10C, is thinner, lighter, controls recoil better with the ported barrel, & is almost or as accurate as the P10C. And I do like the Shield's fiber optic sights! But if I could only have 1 pistol, it would be the P365

P01 and/or P07 Duty for me. CZ is solid, but seriously behind market demands. I only own/carry DA/SA pistols with decockers, so obviously I would go for the P07. That being said (sorry, couldn't resist), I really wish CZ would make a P07 Compact, with a shorter grip area and ever-so-slightly shorter barrel. The size of the P07 is what would keep me from carrying it. I currently carry a Beretta PX4 Storm Compact which is the largest pistol I think I would ever carry. I might pick up a P07 for home defense, though.

When I returned to the fold, so to speak, the first pistol I bought was a P10F. Great pistol, but not ideal as an EDC piece. I bought a P10S and a P365XL, figuring that my spouse would prefer one, and I'd use the other. Sure enough, she likes the P365XL better. Then I picked up a used P10C that had the ambidextrous mag release, switched in an Apex Tactical release, and that became my preferred EDC (in part because I have big-ish hands, and the longer grip works better for me). I've handled and shot the SigSauer, and find it too narrow for my hands when compared to the CZ pistols. If I want a really small concealable pistol, I have one of the M&P Shield 9 pistols. I don't shoot it as well as a P07 or P09, but it would get the job done if the need were to arise.
Then I got to hold a P07. I hadn't thought about the DA/SA action prior to this--the concept was new to me and I wanted to know more about pistols in general before learning about DA/SA modes. I don't think I'll ever be "comfortable" carrying--I don't want to be complacent--but I'm more comfortable mentally (where I try to be rational) with the DA/SA trigger than I am with the striker-fired triggers. So my P07 was my EDC for a while, and is still a favored pistol in the collection.
I found a marvelous deal on a P09 that already had a RDS on it, and that's now the home defense piece (I get that some folks don't like red dot sights, and that's fine, but I'm old enough that age-related Presbyopia is a thing, and red dot sights make it a lot easier to acquire a target in low light situations, so I'm glad to have this one).
A "generic" holster that fell in my lap didn't accept the P10 or P07 trigger guards well, and I noted that the trigger guards on the CZ 75-series guns looked like it would work better *for that holster.* I gave it some thought, and narrowed my options to a P01, a P01 Omega (because the P07 has the Omega system), and the 75D PCR. When I got to handle all three, I found the PCR to have the best-for-me ergonomics of the three, and that is now my EDC. I am considering sending the P07 slide to Cajun Gun Works and having them machine it for a RDS, for that one to be my carry gun, as I don't much care for the idea of cutting the slide on my PCR.

I carry a P10S with all my mags having a plus 2 OEM pad on them. I agree, that the P10S has a better trigger out of the box than a P07. Though an upgraded P07 trigger is superb, especially when you start upgrading parts like the Firing block lever, trigger bar disconnector and trigger itself, you get a trigger so good that an upgraded P10 trigger won't be as good.

The back part of the PO7 grip/back strap is way straighter and a better feel than the striker fire back straps

The CZ P07 is comparable in proportionality to the P10C.

I may choose the P 10 S despite not liking striker, fired for concealed carry. However, I cannot seem to find one anywhere. May have to settle for a PO7.Sig 365 looks cheap, overpriced but looking at the tacopp

07 for me, as I already own a 09. I believe both can use the same holster. Not sure if I can use the same mags though.

Always wanted p07 but, it's too big for CC for me have p10s and love it. Shoots great. Easy to conceal. Have Sig 365xl. Great shooter but, I still don't trust Sig with their issues. So it's a range toy. Carry my p10s or my Glock 43x.

I wish CZ would make the P 07 in a micro 9 size such as a Sig 365 or Hellcat size.

1776 or Bust, it's the same gun "CZ P10s" that you said did not feel as good to shoot as the Smith M&P that you compared it to a few years ago?
The Gold pinky extension is killing it! I love it! 🤩

I ended up trading my P07 in on a P10s based off of this review. It does conceal a bit better than the P07 and believe it or not, I shoot the P10s a bit better. The P07 is an awesome gun though, but the P10s works better for me.
