- I grew up and spent most of my life living in the beautiful, and boring city of Vancouver😅. Since I'm leaving this place to study abroad, I wanted to make this as a way of saying goodbye.

damn that kinda hit me in the feels! next year around this time will be similar for me, as i complete my competivite exams and hopefully get into a good college. ill be far from home. never been so far.
Man that's going to be tough for the both of us. All I can say is, enjoy the moments with the place you call home as much as you can before leaving. 😄😄
When we move on to a new chapter in our life, it often feels like leaving behind an unknown part of ourselves that we never knew existed.

A cinematic masterpiece
Edison, your videos remind me of some movies. From "Only Yesterday", "Better Days", "One Million Yen Girl", "Gekijo" to "My Little Forest" and Wong Kar Wai's "Chungking Express". Where calmness and the overwhelming emotions of the fleeting moments of life get blended too well.

Man change is such a bittersweet thing and I feel like it hurts more during that stage where you know there’s going to be a big change in your life and your just waiting for it as you bid farewell to everything you knew.

@@edisonzhao5 It is an International University in my country's capital city (I come from a small prefectural town). Computer Engineering (I badly wanted to go to Civil Engineering/ Architecture but as I said I failed to get admitted into my dream University which was No.1 in Architecture in my country. Now I am studying for IELTS in my free time and if I get a chance to go abroad within next 8-10 months, I will try to take up my dream major in that foreign university. I have no idea if I will become successful in this endeavour or not (since I will have to manage scholarships, can't afford full tuition in High Tier Unis). I still can't let go of my Civil/Archi dream🥲🥲
@@edisonzhao5 btw Edison, do you remember that guy who commented about ending his life on your other video? You tried to pursue him not to do it (so did I in a couple of replies there). Now I came back and searched for his comment a lottttt but couldn't find it. I guess he deleted? Or idk what happened. I am seriously concerned cuz I lost two school friends (one of them was my bestfriend) to suicide. Academic competition in most Mainland Asian countries (India, China, korea tooo infamous for this) is INSANE and sadly we failed those friends of mine. So whenever I see any stranger on Internet talking about ending his life, I start getting too concerned and preachy. It would be an utter shame if that 25 year old dude from your comment section really ends up taking his own life.
I hope that you will be able to achieve your dream. But this time, with all the lessons that you've learned. You got this!!!
I do, and I can still see his comment. He hasn't responded and idk how he is doing. Do you know any way we can maybe report him to youtube and see if they could help him with that. I really hope the comment he made was just in the moment and during a rough period. His @ is @Kalitayy . And if you, Mr Kalitayy, is reading this right now, please reconsider your choice. A permanent solution is not worth a temporary problem.
