People in the west find Overture man very challenging and smells like BO. But for people in the middle east and asia, this smells manly and sort of mass-appealing. Sexy, mysterious, and intoxicating. Smells like a classy man with some attitude. It does not smell like BO at all to me but I can see why most people in western countries get that BO smell. Their nose may not be accustomed to this kind of spicy scent (cumin). This is a masterpiece and definitely not for everyone. Not for most people. This scent is very particular.
One of the very best Don't understand the constant cumin = BO that, to my knowledge, only hear Americans complain about. We've heard this about Cartier Declaration, another masterpiece. Maybe it's some genetic proclivity.
LOL I just bought a bottle of this one this weekend, but ive had a decant for a while. I love Overture. I feel pretty much how you describeMINUS all the negative stuff you have to say about the cumin. Cumin really doesn't bother me in most fragrances. Burlington 1819 is another one I have that I think is amazing. I would probably give Overture a strong 8 or a 9.
This one has a habit of sneaking up on you and jedi mind tricking you from; Whooow what the hell is that, to I keep wanting to re-try it, to I quite like wearing this, to it's fricking awesome. 🔥
I couldnt agree more with you. I wish the cumin note was turned down for me to like it. You should check out Amouage woman line - Overture, Epic, Epic 56 etc. These are either unisex or Masculin leaning. I believe you'd be pleasantly surprised
The only Amouage you need is overture, possibly the best in my entire collection, contending with Interlude woman, which is a Blackberry Dream come true, if you like spicy get overture, I also recommend Interlude 53, it's nectar of the god's 10/10, been smelling it so much I love it, I might be nose blind, need to take a break from this magical fantastic potion. Highly recommend journey man!
I love interlude 53. I wish I could get into overture lord knows I’ve tried a lot of people love that one. But, I love imitation and a lot of people hate that one 🤷♂️ lol Amouage has something for everyone my favorite is king blue.
100 % correct..same here. Fact : .Im afraid to wear this damn thing..be aware !!! at some point, while on your skin thru out the day, it becomes so animalistic, it becomes the B.O , aka dreaded nasty sweaty armpits also known hockey locker room equipment :).. one time I was wearing it in office last winter, and my good friend at work, who knows I play hockey at nights, goes..forgot to take shower after a hockey game last night ?? I told him it was a damn cologne..Cumin !! Dont let anyone tells you its not there..also learned the hard way, its so oily it stains clothing if accidently sprayed on...another expensive bottle that i keep lookin at on shelf and not use
Ya man it’s undeniable for me I even brought it to work and we all get a body odor smell in the dry down. It’s a good fragrance but that part is just distracting and I feel a bit self conscious wearing it tbh. A lot of people love this one and I’m aware of that all I can be is honest.
@@CgScents I dont know how Xerjoff does it, they have some amazing scents that last and project 10-12 hrs, divine scents, yet they're never oily or sticky, the juice.. this Overture is so greasy, first 30-40-min its like spraying motor oil on skin
I think a lot of people wear this once and decide it isn’t for them … give a solid few wearing and I’m telling you this fragrance is absolutely Devine!!!
Gracias por tu reseña honesta!
true masterpiece
no.its not.sorry

I’m gonna keep wearing it
For me it went from intriguing but can't wear it to true masterpiece
I don’t get any armpit or Xmas vibes even lol
I absolutely love this 10/10 masterpiece
It’s all subjective lol

If Malort was a cologne.

Overture Man has a sharp note that ruins everything else for me so it's a no go. I tend to like Burlington 1819 a lot though ...
Not for me. Probably the most challenging fragrance I have ever tried out of thousands. Cumin isn't for me
It's not the cumin. It's the grapefruit that gives the bo smell.
